Fourth, Lloyds car runs nice - I'd expect no less. 117 mph is flying in an auto, I don't care what you're driving.

For starters, I don't hate Bret or Lloyd, although I have more respect for the latter. I know neither of them personally. When you come onto a site and state emphatically that you're the best camshaft designer (bar none), you better be able to back it up. I've asked and asked for substantiation, but no response. Lloyd has never done that, and other than an irrelevant diatribe once on another site, I have the utmost respect for Mr. Elliot.

Bert got banned for other reasons.

Ya i guess you've been here longer than me... Bret has always been spoken very highly of (by most) since ive been here, but i wasnt around when he first started out.
I understand that bret got banned for "other reasons", but you have to admit that he was poked quite a bit (yes i know it went both ways too).

Back to the topic... i dont think you can go wrong with either lloyd or lingenfelter, but like others said, the cams you spoke of are 2 different animal

Found this old video of my car, it only dyno'd 322rwhp with this setup, and the tranny was slipping in the video. It was shifting at 6500 RPM's which is 500rpm's higher than it should have been (I was running crane 227 cam which is out of steam at 6k) Stock stall, full weight car running through full exhaust.

Heads/cam LT1 stock stall slippin tranny

This is before I knew what the hell I was doing too so I'm sure I could have been in the 11's with a built tranny/stall.

For your the sake of your comment I did a quick search, not in depth at all and I will name a few results I have found. Although I am sure there is alot more here are the more recent ones. Of these I found i haven't read that any have ported LT4 castings like you have, these are all LT1 heads. Ported LT4 castings will provide better results.

There are way too many variables when comparing track times that was the point. Only now did I find out that your car ran 12.09
not 12.00 which I was lead to beleive. WOW!! you were a whole .05 faster than me
