Also there are others out there that have LE packages, with help from Bret & Joe O that ran good times. There are more then just 3-4 just take some time and look around.
...and pilfer through all the slew of excuses right? My shortblock was crap - that's just one excuse. Are you on Bret's payroll now, or just wearing the skirt and pom-poms? you still miss the question and the point of all this, and laughed aloud when you grouped Bert with a 'good' cam guy. Out of curiousity, what other 'good' cam guys would you group him with? Joe Overton? Joe O. has already publicly aired his gripe about Bret's 'incompetency' and lack of credentials, so I'm not sure that good cam guy would appreciate being lumped with a lump.

You keep bringing up Lloyd...what does any of this have to do with Lloyd? He's got his own issues of QC to deal with in another thread...

Yes I now know my setup was cheaper. Why? Because to achieve the listed dyno numbers and track times I've mentioned with the LPE setup I did it with a stock fuel pump, stock injectors, stock FPR, stock full SLP 2OTL exhaust (ORY) with no cut-out, completely stock suspension and stock heavyass 17" wheels up front and 16" '97 style wheels in the rear w/ ET Streets.
Just thought I'd share. Pardon me while I gloat.

Your a ****ing clown. I'm done with trying to explain things to you. Like I said you already have your opinion, and nobody will change that.

You write some fairly long and impassioned posts for someone who doesn't care.

The 2 biggest porters that are debated here are LE/AI, and with results you'll find that the customers of each are very happy with the products, with some exceptions of course for both.
Can not one consider the questions the other people are posting to Bret as "attempts to do the research" to find out information? It is one thing to get information about a person/companies product second hand - that too has to be taken with a grain of salt. However I've found in business hearing directly from the company in question holds a lot more water.

You have stated that you know Phil from Ai, so perhaps your theories and comments about who is better should be taken with the weight they deserve? I also have heard Phils/Rons thoughts on the whole LE/BRE vendors, so it doesn't surprise me by what your thoughts are...you know being there friends and all!
So should we apply the same weight and value towards your statements regarding Bret, seeing as you have stated he is your friend? I suppose one could take this now and say that your opinions about BRE are biased as well.

Is there anyone who has done a truly independent test between the two in question?

Interesting concept. Going to the horse's mouth, so to speak...

The problem is getting the 'horse' (so to speak) to answer the question I gather from all of this.

Have you tried speaking with him directly? or emailing directly?

If you are not getting information directly from the horse's mouth, the other alternative is to get it indirectly from the other end. There seems to be a lot of that going on.

If nothing else, this is a study in a few personalities.
