No, I've got two real claims going right now. Paypal and DHL. I've been in contact with the seller for the past month. Im not sure if thats good for my case or not. I'm starting ebay tonight. [Why did I use that smilie ] I think I have a good shot at getting DHL to reimburse me, because he fully insured it and the box arrived with the heads sticking out the end. I took plenty of pictures of it on my doorstep, so they can't really refute (sp?) it.

 

What are you gonna do with DHL? Say they ruined your $1000 heads in shipping. Heads that are only worth about $200 that would be fraud on your part.

Can't you just file a claim on Ebay and Paypal saying he sent you a faulty product? If you did, what is taking so long? I was just scammed out of 500 dollars for a couple drum cymbals I shipped out, some person sent me fake money, and I had no idea. Paypal isn't doing ANYTHING about it.

 

Well, its been 5 days since I started the claim. They say it could take as long as a month for them to come to a decision.

 

That is BS, what is there to look into?! They sent you a fraudulent product, it doesn't take 30 days to realize that. I hope it works out for you man, being scammed SUCKS. Odds are you will be refunded the money. And hey, maybe you'll be able to keep those heads and sell them for some extra cash

 

We can hope, can't we? I'm doing everything I can think of to prove to paypal that these heads aren't what he showed in the auction. Would including different pictures be enough to qualify as grossly misrepresented? I just noticed that I didn't bid on "Lloyd Elliott" heads, but "Llyod Elliot" heads, which might be enough for them to deny it on grounds of being different than described as. But since the pictures he showed on his listing are oviously not of what he sent me...

 

Forget paypal, you wont get anything out of them. If there is no money in his paypal acct...your screwed.

 

Paypal denied my right to Sellers Protection, that is why I am pissed. I have filed a report with the FBI and other investigation agencies regarding my stuff a month ago, no calls back yet.
