Did you save any cash by buying the supercharger from him? I am sure thats all he was trying to do. I think we have all been done the "save some cash" road and for some it works and some it really bites us. I use to do the ebay thing all the time and now I stay away from it.2 times in one year was enough for me. I look but I always wonder who's gonna get scammed next. It to bad it doesn't get policed, like it should and have all fraud cases prosecuted. This BS would stop .

 

Lloyd, couldn't you prosicute him for falsely using your name?

 

On the Ebay link provided on page four of this thread, the seller states that he bought them from a seller that stated he had them done by Lloyd. If that is the same seller, he is trying to cover his a$$. Unfortunately, he is using a very reputable person to help sell his heads.

I think the safest thing to do is just by them straight from Lloyd. I don't trust much of anyone, especially on Ebay anymore...after being burnt many times. My heads where done by Lloyd and the craftsmanship and customer service provided from Lloyd is up there with the best in the business.

well guys i went by today and talked with the original seller today. He said he has made the offer to refund the purchase price of the heads if they are returned to him in the condition he sent them. This seems strait up to me. Why has the buyer not sent them back and just got a refund? Knowing this changes my entire outlook on things so i am glad i stopped and talked to him.

 

I love how people always try and turn things around on the buyer. It is absolutely clear in this case that the buyer is a thief. The pictures that were listed on the sale and what what received are two totaly different heads. Did the seller say why that happened? If he is so honest, why did the wrong heads get sent? If I was the buyer, I wouldn't be returning them just yet either because they would be in evidnece waiting for the outcome of the criminal case. I would also have already filed a smalls claims case for the $1000. This is an obvious diplay of fraud and with the feedback from other people that heve been screwed by this guy, he needs to be prosecuted. THE IS NOTHING WORSE THAN A THIEF!

I'm sure he will refund them in the condition they were received in..... Especially since the buyer has already stated they may have been damaged in shipping.

I'm sorry, but your probably SOL. I've dealt with ebay, paypal, and all of the shipping companies for years now.

I have been on the giving end of this scam stuff unfortunatly. A guy paypaled me over $300 for a palm Pilot that I never shipped him, and he never got his money back. The kicker is, it was an old ebay account and old paypal account. Someone had used both of them to list an item on ebay and to transfer the money. As soon as it was tranferred, whomever sent it on over to their own account. I didn't realize until I got a email from the guy. I explained the situation, gave him the other paypal address. He called me a scammer and told me her was going to paypal for the money. So, I closed the paypal account and he never got squat. I emailed paypal and ebay. Neither was too eager to help me or the guy. Sorry he lost $300, but I sure as hell am not paying it...lol. This happened twice in a year to me, and once to my brother. You don't know it until it's too late, and when you find out, noone really wants to help.

Anyways, I hope things work out for you. I'll be watching his auctions for awhile now just to see what transpires.

well how can you say something when you have been offered a full refund for a product? Send it back and get your refund. Its as simple as that. You think ebay or paypal are going to do anything if you are offering a full refund to the buyer?

Dude - how do you know that he actually offered this to Beyonce? Were you there when he composed the email to Beyonce offering this or are you simply taking him at his word - which - right now holds **** for substance. This guy is a crook and you're defending him to no end??? What's your deal?

 

As LLoyd already said, but even I looked at these heads, and having several sets done by Lloyd I can tell you that there is almost no works done, cc are not smoothed, the intake ports look too huge, didn't bother looking at exhaust but lloyd exhaust is ussually thin but tall from what I remember and nice

With PayPal make sure you file the claim within 45 days, if the seller is not confirmed you may have trouble getting your monies unless it's money in his PayPal account that PayPal can take out, but they will only give you what they can recover.

Thing with PayPal, I am not 100% on this, but if you received something, you are most likely not getting you money, only eBay will try to come to a resolution if the item is received but not as described.

I've filed with UPS before, and as I am sure with any other courier, (my claim was accepted) it is stupid because guess who they refund? LOL, the shipper not the recepient.

What good is that? I filed my stupid claim, some UPS guy came, clami was approved for over $1,000, then when I'm like ok where is my money, they are like. Ohh the refund will go to the shipper and then you can work with them, because it is the shipper put insurance on the product.

My product came slightly damaged, no bid deal but still. I'm not sure how fraud works but damaged items they refund the shipper. In my case, the shipper was no longer existant and thus noone gets the money. Its so stupid considering you pay the shipper for the funds.

I understand now though, there is a loop hole I am sure. Next time you ship something big, you call UPS and schedule the delivery to pick up the goods from the shipper and you pay for the fees, that way you get the money back because you paid for the insurance etc.. Stupid UPS.

 

Yea, why would you want more than this? he sent you bull**** heads for a bull**** price, why not send them back so he can try it on someone else and get his $1,000 from another unsuspecting person. Are you a fuggin idiot or just the sellers boyfriend?

Er, uh, lets do an example, how about I try to murder your family, if you catch me, dont prosecute, just give me back my gun, knife, and a ticket to Mexico and we'll call it even, since everyone lived. Point is, the freaking refund means nothing, the seller is a lying sack of pig droppings and needs prosecuted. He is trying to get away with what he did, he obviosuly doesnt want any authorities involved. I would absolutely love to see this guy not only have to refund the money but also lose additional funds for false advertisement, false use of a company's name, and internet fraud. I am sure if Lloyd got involved and you got a lawyer (they love these cases, I had an instructor who would eat this guy up) that NO ONE would even say that had Lloyd Elliot heads without first checking with him. I see a cowardly dip**** settling out of court before he loses some of his possesions.

Prosecute the bastard to the fullest extent. A lawyer can tell you how much you can wring out of this SOB. I can tell you I did cases on this in law classes and you would win your case. Lloyd also would get benefits I am sure, especially if your work or name is copyrighted. You might even want to work on a class action suit with Cantonracer and anyone else who he scammed. -- I am telling you this would end the bull**** in the parts for sale section if everyone knew that we took SOB's like this one straight to court.

Get the SOB good for what he has done. Dont take the $1000 and send him back the heads, you have many rights that you can exercise. Also since he is from another state you can pick what court to have him tried in, and if he never shows at your local court since its too far away, you win judgment for what you want. Its so easy to fugg this guy over, and he will get away with nothing if you send back the heads.

Eat him alive.

Dont send the heads back becuase then he will have your money AND the set of heads. Tell him to go f*ck himself and file through every ebay and paypal account and make posts about him being a scammer.
