This is the craziest thing I've read in a while. Evidently the seller is a crook. Yeah, of course he is going to offer a refund, because the rat is stuck in a corner. And the only way he's gonna get out is to give up a little cheese. A good scammer will sell a few items flawlessly and a high dollar sale, like a supercharger, is a good way to gain some positive feedback. I've seen it on here a million times. No matter what way you look at it and no matter what emails he sent...he's still a crook, a rat, and a punk. Good luck.

 

well when you got the option of a full refund or possibly nothing what would you do?

 

That's up to the buyer. If it were up to me...a $200 round trip ticket. So I could get my refund in full and look him in the eyes as he told me some b.s. story...and you know I'd probably bring a couple of cops with me just for show. What's $200 when you've spent a grand. I think the refund is too easy of a way out.

 

Do the refund. No deals. Make him pay you in full your refund price, and make him pay you to ship. He should send exactly what you paid, not a penny more, not a penny less.

Tell him to paypal you, then you will ship the heads back to him. Thats the only way to know for sure your not going to get taken on it. He is buying them back from you for exactly the same price.

I wouldn't send him the heads back. If he is a known scammer he will probably just keep the heads and send you nothing back. As far as COD is concerned, i'm pretty sure i was told once that you can't open the box until its been paid for. Then once you've paid your SOL even if it isnt what its suppose to be.

 

Okay, here is what is going on. The guy bought the heads back from me on ebay for $1000 auction page
He is sending me $500 now via cashiers check, and $500 when he recieves the heads. Of course, I will not be shipping the heads until the $500 is safely in my checking account. I figure this was the best way things could go. My other claims are still in progress, so if he doesn't pay the other $500, I'm no worse off than I was before, only now I only have to recover $500 instead of $1000. Also, at least I know I'm getting something back. Ther was a possibility of me getting nothing, so at least I've cut my losses in half, at the very worst.

 

Put some anthrax spores or botulism toxin in the water jackets for shipping. That way when he opens them there will be no more scamming. He'll live 2 days or so with the anthrax so it's enoguh time to send your other $500 if he was planning to.

 

Stop being so leaniant about the situation...this guy is a fraud and a known scammer... you shouldn't have to compromise anything with him at all.. He ripped you off for over 1 thousand dollars...and your deciding if him letting him take "some" of your hard earned money is allright? That doesn't make sense... not to mention the ebay bill youll get for selling a 1K item... wich is a nice fee... You should be getting back ALL your money and any dollar you spent wasing your time on this sack of sh*t. If it were me I'd take what ever duckets I had left and seriously ring this guys door bell. He robbed you! He's a dishonest Thief! This guy needs to be in Jail.


It's funny how your the victim but you allowed him to reverse roles on you... by having him want you to send the heads first... then you get the money... hilarious... since when has a vendor or any seller for that matter given you a product without payment first? Make him pay you in full... then send him the heads.

 

If he pays you in full beat the **** out of those heads. Make them un useable so he cant try to sell them again. Or hell stuff the ports with dog crap lol. I would NOT stand for this. It's not just you who has been scammed, it's ALOT of people. You need to do something about it.This guy does not deserve to be treated as a human or shown any sign of respect. Don't send the heads back, destroy the heads, or send him something to show him you won't put up with his bull****.

NEVER buy ported heads sight unseen hoping that it will all work out.

Hell, I have sold some myself with an honset description and pictures, but I would never have bought them personally. The most important part of an engine should have the most knowledge and money commited to it - not hopes and trust with fingers crossed.

 

lol's.. you should have him pay you first...then send him some plastic heads off one of those life sized 350 engine Models they sell at Autozone.

 

All I really have to say is that Beyonce, your a freaking idiot for letting this guy take you for yet another ride. I dont want to hear any complaining when you only get 1/2 your damn money back. I think everyone in this thread told you not to do exactly what you are doing except for the scammer's little friend. You had that MF'er by the ***** and everyone here was saying squeeze till you get what you want. But instead you let go and had him smack you in the back of the head for your trouble.

First time your scammed by someone its their fault, second time its your own, from this point foward the rest is your own damn fault.

I would have taken this POS to court and had him paying me $5000, Lloyd $5000 and begging both of us not to procede with criminal charges.

Well if I even decide to scam someone, I'll scam Beyonce since I know he'll crumble into half a man under the circumstances and do exactly what I want.

This decision makes me sick, no wonder people get scammed, no one in the right position to do anything about it, does.

I wouldnt possibly get nothing, I'd have him sitting in an Ohio court or he'd be out the money not me. I have spoken with a few lawyers about internet scam's and I know my rights. I would have a feild day with that chump.
