I just checked my email and he offered me a refund IF I return them to him. I offered to sell them back to him on ebay for $990 shipped. I figure this way there is no way he can rip me off again. So does anybody know of any other way we could safely make the exchange? I figure if this works out, I'll still be out $100 for shipping and paypal expenses, but I'd rather take that than the possibility of never seeing any of it again. I can afford loosing $100, not $1000.

drive to him with lots of us. And DO NOT give him a deal. Make him pay you $1,200 for the heads, or better yet just sue him becuase he's an idiot. Get Lloyd to file suit against him becuase Lloyd is going to take the fall for that. Some unknowing idiot is going to buy those heads, slap them on and be pissed at lloyd and talk bad about his work the entire time. It's bad for lloyd business, a waste of your time and money, and a waste of everyone elses time and money that he ripped off. You need to sue him. Send him the link to this thread and show him what's going on. He needs to be punished. you shoudl have his adress from Paypal so we can all pay him a visit.

 

Shawn, I would love to really stick it to this guy, I really would. Trust me, I will do everything I can to keep him from ripping anybody else off. But, I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth here. There was a possibility I'd get nothing back, so I might as well cut my losses here. HOPEFULLY everything will work out with this deal, if not, I've still got a few options to pursue.

 

dude he sent me a copy of what he sent you when i asked him to prove it. Do i need to forward it to you? He told me you agreed to send them back too. Is this not true? Honestly why would you not want your money back and be able to move on? This makes no sense and thats why i am standing up for the seler somewhat.It like if you go to best buy and get a tv and then it doesn't work for you. Do you keep it and try pointlessly to make best buy pay for your hassles or do you simply return the tv and get your money back?

 

Yeah, I just saw the email. I had originaly sugested I just send them back for a full refund. Trust me, I'll take me money back any way I can get it. Amazing how people on here can here news about this before me But, how can I safely send them back so he wont have my heads and still not send my money back. I can't trust this guy a bit right now. Why don't you contact paypal and ask them about it. Don't they offer a full refund if the seller agrees to take them back. Shouldn't that work good for you and him?

 

There is a 99% chance you will get it all and alot more back if you follow through with this. Ebay is a legal and binding agreement that all is accurately discloased and such. I'm sure Lloyd would love to testify against this guy saying these arent his heads and sue him himself for lying about it.

Dude, you send those heads back your not gonna see money or another set of heads.

 

how will he not see money if he goes through paypal for it? Ebay is not a binding legal contract lol. I tried that before when i got scammed and it ment nothing to anyone i tried to file with.

 

Yea well i had already left him postive feedback before i got my cc bill in and was charged once there and once through my bank account for the plates...and yea i did get ripped off b/c it's been 3 months and nothing has been done! I filed with paypal and they said there have been other complaints about this guy too but nothing has been done yet!Thanks though!

 

PAypal is a joke.... and enay is also a joke. Only way to get your money back is to have him "put it in writting" have him write you a letter with his signature on it stating that he will give you a full refund if you return the heads to him. Then WHen you ship them.... send them UPS with a confirmed signature... that way only he will be able to sign for it.

If his BS's you you have a written contract, and proof of delivery... more than enough to nail him in court.

You know, along time ago there was this thing called COD. Cash On Delivery. UPS still does it, Fed Ex Still does it. and just a small fee. The only reason I say that is I mentioned it when I was trying to buy something in the for sale section and the guy actually though that cod ment I wanted Him to deliver it. For what it's worth.
