253k on my white '94. Just pulled the heads for a valve job. Before that, I had never even removed a valve cover.

JESUS, after seeing some of these LT1's that have lasted deep into the 200k+ mark I feel sorry for those that broke their crank or spun a rod.

Re: How long did your lt1 last?

80,000 miles w/ bolt-ons...worn out thrust bearing, wobbling crank shaft. granted the car still starts, just the crank position sensor cant read the crank sometimes so it turns off. there was about .25-.5 wobble , who knows how long it would have lasted after that.

there were about 60-70 drag strip runs, 50 or so street races, and numerous times i did donuts in the rain. I took good care of it maintanance wise, but really beat on it a lot, and its my fault, i take full responsibility.

the new 355 will be a different story, Im going to be nice to her.

120k, and rip as of last weekend. of a 100 dry shot killed the head gasket,so i guess it isnt 100% dead, but might as well freshen it up now.

150,000 Miles...still running. No major fixes to this point

Stock opti, gone through a couple alternators and water pumps.

Last guy who had it 100k before rod knock. Bought the car and I replaced it with a trans am motor with 40k on it. Currently at around ~70k on the motor. Went through 4 opti's. Blew the 10 bolt once within an hour after getting new tires. Replaced the wp once. Bunch of other small fixes etc. However now when it gets cold (pretty much less than 40 degrees) it leaks coolant from between the head and the block right on top of my opti which was causing my opti failures. When I get the opportunity to rip the heads off to replace the headgaskets gonna have them checked out for flatness. Maybe throw in some port work while I'm at it

148K on a completely stock engine. Pulls strong and burns no oil, though it leaks some.

ive seen the car in person. i think 'ebay electric supercharger' is a bit of an understatement

mine is at 89.5K miles and it runs really strong.
