mine had 146k and some change, it threw number 8 rod bearing. destroyed the crank and the rod. everything else was good but I replaced everything just to be safe. One thing I couldn't believe is the cylinder bores still had the cross hatching after all those miles and the bearing failure.

174,283 and a head gasket let go. Oil in the coolant. A new engine is being assembled and hopefully will be installed this weekend. It was on the original Opti too. The intake gaskets had been replaced twice, but it was untouched other than that.

Thumbs up

152,000. Only MAJOR motor work so far is a head gasket job.

I also had a crank shaft break in half on me. Bought the car used, had an lt4 cam and valve train. I believe it had lots of nitrous passed through it as well. I got another stocker for a replacement and shes still running strong so far. Got just over 104k on the dial. Not sure how many actual miles on the motor.

Put in a cc306 @ 113k and spun #7 & #8 rod bearings by 123k. I think its sitting somewhere around 130 now and I am putting together my 3rd motor.

Died on me in the water box, thought wtf. Started it back up, pulled up to the line. Died. Started it again. Light turned green. 1st. 2nd. Died on 2-3 shift. Said screw it, threw it into 3rd and let go of the clutch. Fired back up and finished the run. Died in the return lane again. Got to the pits and had 0 oil pressure and glitter in the oil. Drove it 60 miles to my buddies garage and pulled the motor there.

12.8 @ 109 on street tires and 2 spun rod bearings.

Mine currently has 107k. Installed cam/valvetrain at 104k about 3 years ago.

The thing has probably been driven less than 100 miles in the past year and a half though.

130k and am just now getting some blowby. It lived with 6psi of boost on the stock tune from 1500 miles (original owner had it installed) until I ripped off the blower at ~75k. I've been very good to her on the maintenance but have been feeding a mild addiction to road racing
Motor and stock opti are still strong as ever, just can't stop oil from being forced out at higher rpms. Probably have broken rings or ringlands on one or more cylinders...still does fine for mild street duty though. Currently saving up for a 396...

Mine lasted to ~145k. Only mods done were K&N FIPK, flowmaster catback.
I got it at 118k and it had been abused to the point where everyone knew the car around town from all the burnouts and donuts the previous owner had done with it. I finished off the 4l60e, the 10bolt, swapped to 6speed and 4:10's in another 10bolt and it finally blew both head gaskets on my way to walmart one day. Thats when i built the 383
