Just wondering how long everyones lt1 lasted before they had to rebuild it? I've got a 145k on mine and still running strong.

 

141K, Times in sig in 90 degree weather

 

88k miles, had a comp rocker nut come loose on me and let the valve hit the piston. I *might* have been able to save the motor as the piston only had a small nick in it, but I chose not to. My block is sitting in my garage awaiting a future build up after I decide to upgrade from my current 355 in several years.

Motor looked brand new inside.

 

101K - spun a rod bearing, 100% stock.

 

42,000 broke crank in half. no power adders at all. no bolt ons.

 

178K *knocks on wood*

 

What!?! Very strange, I've never heard of that before. Did you buy the car used or new?

Mine had 153K IIRC.

 

63k, also broke crank in half.

 

122k and still strong, previsously supercharged before I bought it(X-75,000mi) zero blow-by(so far, LOL)

 

104K Had slight leak between #5 and 7 cylinders. Previous owner couldn't maintain a car if his life depended on it.

 

I am at 167k miles and it pulls just as hard as when i first got it a while back. mid 13's with the setup in sig

 

161 and counting

 

i drove it to high 13's bone stock at 133k...CAI and exhaust at 145k still running hard

 

I still can't get over two people breaking the crank in half Other than extreme set ups I don't ever hear that happening.

 

I'm at 124K miles still going strong. KNOCK ON WOOD!!
