the cam is already a custom spec 230/236 114lsa cam, but i am tempted to get something that comes on harder.....im gonna stick with it and give it a shot for another season.

should be a good cam with that 383. My 233/233 is on a 112 for my 401 and it seems to work well so far... i've only seen 2.7 lbs of boost in the high 3000 rpm range with heavy part throttle and its already coming alive.

I see 8psi by 4000 i think...if i recall, I try to pay attention to the road bc it breaks loose thru all the gears hahah, second is really fun!

I also found a huge leak just before I found out the head cracked so that coulda had some reason for the slower spool.
I redid the crossover in 1/8inch and moved the wastegate lower.

Well some more parts in hahaha.

As you see my Ported AFR's are in. They are dissasembled so I can hot tank them and mill them to ensure they are 100% true.
AFR 195's
2.055/1.600 valves
Ported.

FLOW INT EXH
.100 71.7 52.8
.200 143.4 105.5
.300 208.6 147.2
.400 247.3 185.5
.500 276.3 203.4
.600 293.7 208.5
.650 299.1 211.3

Ordered some 16awg 1 5/8 bends with the collectors to build some tubular headers ...it is a weld up kit, but I bought it for the 90's basically. So it wont go together as the kit is suppose to. It was just alot cheaper to buy a kit then to buy separate bends.

Also I designed some SBC round port flanges using the LT1 bolt pattern at work, then CNC and surface ground them

The turned out perfect, I bolted them to the AFR's and the ports line up mint!

How much would it cost me to buy a pair of those flanges like those from you?
Thanks!

hmm well with material costs and since I dont run a CNC anymore (got a desk job now with higher pay haha). I have to send them to a buddies shop.

Im sure we could do them for around 80-90 a pair plus shipping.

I would have to probably make about 10 pairs to actually drop the price etc.

But if I can get my hands on a machine sometime when Im not working I could probably make a few and not have to worry about paying my friend to cnc them.

I will talk with him and see how long it took him to cut them and how much he wants. He cnc'd mine as a favor, bc I am tuning his boosted LT1 when he is done (he is buiding a roots setup)

Very cool. Let me know if you can get them. I'm fine with that 80 to 90 + shipping.
Thanks for the quick reply.

Well I started on the tubular headers, took about 2H total maybe so far to get this far.
Seems to be working good!
