No, you don't have to join to download anything, as long as they are individual files. You can't download folders without a paid account. I don't know what you mean by ports opening. Do you mean ads? I don't see those, being the account owner. I suspect you just have to close them. There should be several files in addition to the 3 folders. If nothing else works, try using another web browser.

These are operating system communication ports that my router transaction log reports. Some seem to be from googleads, others are unknown. It appears the file info might be contained in a java packet that media file is sending to me. I don't accept java packets. Having been hacked by cyberscum using java packets containing malware, I use a router hardware firewall to keep them out. Best of luck with your aps, perhaps I'll try again in the future.

I have 95er Z28 and since I bought my camaro (6 years ago) I am still facing problem running rich. i changed spark and cables, check fuel presure, temp senzor etc. Could someone help me to check logs what could be wrong? it is quite difficul to find in my country someone who is expert on LT1 angines.

You probably won't get much response in this location since it is not about general performance troubleshooting.

Also, what version Scan9495 are you using? The data format has been changed in the newer versions and the file you posted has a lot of file errors. I suggest you download the newest program version.

 

I downloaded the file, and as Gary points out, there are numerous problems with the data not indexing into the correct columns, and jumping all over. You need to follow his advice and download the latest version of the software.


I think I identified the fuel trim cell #, and the left and right long term fuel trim (LTFT) columns (and movements to different columns). Appears you were idling the engine, in Cell #16, and the left side long term is bottomed out at 108 (PCM is pulling out the maximum allowed 15% of the normal fuel requirement) and the right side is at 110, meaning it is close to the maximum allowable fuel subtraction.

The PCM is reading the A/F ratio as rich, and is subtracting fuel to lean it out. Hard to tell if there is anything in the data log that would point to what is causing the problem, because of the incorrectly indexed column entries.

EDIT: when i have region seting in windows to Czech even i received error during opening your test log file. after switch to US it is ok i will create new scan log when i will drive from work

 

Many thanks for this tool! I have been using it on my 94 Roadmaster wagon LT1 4L60e trans. I read the user guide but am not sure how to read some of the transmission data. I want to see when the computer enables the TCC to lock up. I see several indicators for TCC activity but would like to know specifically what indicators will be active when the TCC locks up at a given speed. Any other info on TCC indicators would be appreciated. Thanks again for an amazing tool.

 

I am no expert on this data, I just know how to retrieve and display it ;-)

I think the best place to look is in the Outputs section (TCC Enable and TCC control). I really don't know the difference between these two, or even if there is any significant difference. I am guessing the TCC Control is what you want since that is what is indicated on the wiring diagram. The other TCC references are flags that indicate faults (open or shorted) or status under the conditions that the TCC was turned off.

 

Garydoug, will this program allow me to see what size injectors my PCM is programmed for?

 

No. the only thing the pcm delivers for diagnostics regarding the injectors is the bank1 and bank2 base injector pulse times in milliseconds and a flag to indicate there was a failure during the current drive cycle.

Quick question for Gary or somebody who has used a connector like this? I found a 12 pin obd1 to obd2 adapter online for $15 and a obd2 plug to USB online for $10. Will this connect up right to properly read my PCM?

No they won't. I am sure the Vag-Com cable will not work as it does not use the same USB-serial port converter chip that FTDI makes. I have actually investigated that cable for possible use.

The OBD1-to-OBD2 cable will not work either, if it is anything like the several I have bought already. You can see part of that cable in the very first post here. The wiring is not correct for the F-body cars. I do recommend the use of this cable by cutting off one end and using the remaining part as part of a cable you make yourself by adding the USB converter end. See post #13.
