You're funny. I read Cheers and Gears too. In fact I gave Crispey some input on his 5th gen drawing.

He gets his information from me, Bobby Lutz.
Oh, and that guy saying it won't be an F-body just said that because he didn't want to be blamed for leaking the information that the Camaro would be coming back.

As soon as you guys see a new platform you automatically think "OMG CAMARO!"
This argument makes me wanna bang my head against a wall. Untill someone reports that there is a supplier making "Camaro" badges, it is NOT set in stone. GM can call it whatever they want, and can wait till the last minute to decide. What if GM decided to name the Zeta car Chevelle to take heat off until CAW negotiations are over, then sprang a Torana based Camaro on us?
If they have worked 3+ years on the car, why is there such a mad dash to get it here by 07? People forget, the original 4th Gen replacement was being designed on Sigma, and only within the last year or two has Zeta came in the picture.
Again, these are what if's....but at this point, the only thing seemingly set in stone is that there will be a Chevy couterpart to the GTO.
Re: Zeta...Zeta....Zeta.......
Someone correct me if I'm wrong...
But these are some things that would need to done if things were set in stone.
- Styling finalized.
- Crash tested.
- Camo'd GTO looking mules everywhere.
- Name finalized.
- People like us NOT talking about a new medium RWD architecture.
You know...stuff like that.

Re: Zeta...Zeta....Zeta.......
It took GM about 6 years to come out with the 4th gens after prototypes (the Pontiac Banshee and California Camaro) and design studies started being made. What is odd about now is...(or is hopefully odd) there haven't been any design studies or prototypes shown.
Now... I am just saying this out of extremely high bias against the Bel Air concept car (I HATE it) and the first Nomad concept (it's... okay... but the front end is too short to be remotely Camaro-like---the non-Kappa Nomad is what I am referring to). The Chevy SS was okay... I didn't like the 4 doors terribly much and I disliked the front end completely.
So when were these concepts made? The Chevy SS was shown in 2001... what about the Bel Air and the green Nomad?
