Big difference.

I thought all along you have been saying that a Camaro needs to be smaller? And this was one of your key elements. CTS is not smaller.... so how can you find this to a "Camaro" feel?
Also, saying the "Sigma" feels for like a Camaro than a GTO is, well... an eyebrow raiser to say the least..
SRX and STS are on Sigma too... do they feel like a Camaro too?

I've never driven an SRX, but the STS feels pretty good too.

Wouldn't it would really suck if GM went through this whole years long and dance only to come back to a Sigma Camaro which was the initial plan years ago?
Not that I am saying they are...just saying how crappy it would be.

I REALLY hope we're just being screwed with and things are progressing toward a '07 release date....I hope they're getting a good laugh at us.

Only thing I know is Chevy has a coupe coming out on Zeta in a few years.....

I don't know everything about Zeta....maybe just enough. But if the Strategy Board were to give me one minute of authority, to decide between Sigma and Zeta, this is what I'd do for all my Camaro Comrades -----I'd choose Sigma!
Everytime I see a CTS-V....I think....what a great chassis and powertrain developement mule for a 5th gen Z/28.

Re: Zeta...Zeta....Zeta.......
Just to confuse the issue even more.....here's a quote from a GM Design staffer (from another site) when I asked him about the latest design rendering in PHR magazine....just thought I'd cloud things over this morning...take it for what you will...
Doug....like the Corvette, GM has chosen to design that vehicle off-site. Along with the new GTO. However...that car is not being called 'Camaro'. It is under a different designation right now (for a number of reasons). Whether it is going to end up a Camaro or not is up to GM to decide. If I knew either way or knew what it looked like, I couldn't divulge that information. Like all GM employees, I'm bound to a confidentiality agreement. When I say great things are coming...I'm not necessarily talking about an 'F' body but rather other cars that will satisfy the performance appetite. Stay tuned.

I still think this is oversimplification.
I have had the chance to drive a Cadillac XLR... and I have driven many C5's (still gotta drive a C6), and even though the XLR is on thr same platform as Corvette, it didn't "feel" like a Corvette...
EDIT: I've also driven a few CTS's (no CTS-V though) and I LOVE these cras... however, I certainly didn't get a "Camaro" feel from the car.
Now, I'm not saying that Sigma can't make a proper Camaro, my point is, I just can't see how someone who has been pretty much against a Zeta Camaro is for a Sigma Camaro...

Well, even I'll admit that one of my (very few) "complaints" about my GTO so far is the "slow steering", it just seems liek I have ot turn the wheel a bit more than I should during cornering...
However, I'd think that is a steering setup issue, and not much of a chassis/platform issue... so...
Also, you are still assuming that Zeta will be exactly like the current GTO, and not a "de-costed" Sigma.
