Fpss

I need a FPSS!

Where to buy from and how much?

Part # from summit would be great!

I'm installing it on a LT1 with a WOT and window switch.

Thanks

Just my .02, but I wouldn't waste the money on it. They are one of the main reasons people have problems with their N20 kits. Do a search. I have one and it's not wired up anymore.

I may hook my local pressure gauge up to the port, stick it out from under the hood, and let my friend watch the gauge when we hit the n2o.

If it is good, then I won't worry about it.

It is going on a stock Z28 with 100000 miles on it.

IMO, the fpss is an EXCELLENT safety device, but you need to set it at what fuel psi you want to turn the solenoids off. I think the main reason people have problems with them is b/c they dont' set the psi on them properly.

On my car i hooked up a mechanical fuel psi gauge after the fpss. I then loosened up one of the fittings on teh line so it would slowly drop fuel psi. I used a test light and made sure the light was on, and then turned the hex key so the light shut off at 35psi. It was very easy, and is good knowing if my fuel pump goes out on me, the nitrous will shut off before i melt my motor...

The nos fpss part number is 15750 $35.95 from summit

I called Summit with that part number and that item is for 4 to 7 psi. He gave me a different part # for the one that I needed, and now it is on the way!

Thanks everyone!

FPSS is a good idea, that being said I don't use one.
