i have a small leak where the fitting goes into the nitrous filter...tried to tighten it down more, but it wont go...can i just fill around the fitting with teflon paste? it looks like there was paste on the part of the fitting that is in the filter anyway...


2nd question - is it possible for a 3000 MSD window switch pill to go bad or something? I tried a 3000 and it didnt work, but the 3200 did. Anyone have experience with this? the 3000 also was loose in the window switch, while the 3200 fit snug.

Is it a TNT kit? They had some defective filters that would leak. I think they are good about replacing them. I don't see any reason you can't use teflon paste. If it is not a flare fitting it definately needs paste.

If its a pipe fitting go for it. If it is a compression or AN fitting you have problems . I would take the fitting off and make sure that it is not cracked.
