    How are you Rich. I'm selling my supercharged 396 SS ('96 model) for dirt cheap and it matters to me a little bit who buys it. As about the coolest seeming guy on here over past years I wanted to be sure you know about this and could tell anyone you respect and think might be interested that there's a great deal available. I would hate for a twenty year old with pants around his knees, a bad attitude, and pretending to be Eminem to buy it. The car is posted on the for sale forum. Cheers man.

    Steve: VN to hear from you. Things are decent. Son is married, daughter off at school. Working full time (was planning on cutting back, but the stock market threw me for a loop). Doing lots of drag racing with my 27T with a BBC. The Z28 is off the road as of now.

    I have a question that needs your vast knowledge. I had an engine builder (semi-well known) build me a 383LT1 for boost. It gas forged internals with Ross Blower Pistons and Dart 180cc "unported" heads. My goal is to make 600RWHP with 12-15lbs boost from a D1SC & twin front mounts on pump gas and keep it somewhat streetable/dependable. After comlpetion the CR comes to 9.237:1. The guy that will be tuning my car is concerned that this might be to high of CR for the amount of boost that I will be running to make the 600RWHP. He said something about hot spots on the pistons?? Can you give me some guidance? I don't want to run Alky/H2O injection. If you need more info on the engine just let me know. Thanks for the help. Mike
