I hope I didn't offend you in anyway. I do apologize.

My brother had a 95 Cobra...along with the other 3 stangs he's owned 90 gt, 92 cobra, 95 cobra, and a 00 gt, and when he did his head, intake, LT's(came with car), bassani exhaust(came with car), and E cam install...it was an all out beast. LS1's were like us racing civics. He had 4.10's and the tremec 5 speed and it ran mid 11's all day on street tires. The car was like working on an 86 chevy truck. And all the parts, heads were used stage III, cost him around $1800. Now, every mustang that he has owned (besides the new one)has been stolen...just to show how easy it is to steal them, even with alarms...and one time it was right out of the garrage and other was from in front of the house with us running after the guy. His new car, which sleeps with a pitbull and rottweiler in the garage, is fast as well, it has a fully functional hood ram air, msd, borla x pipe with full exhaust, short throw with 4.10's and a couple grand in suspension and I beat him by atleast a car on average. My stock LT1 ran 14.0x's at about 98-99, and with the cai, msd, exhaust, shift kit and all the free stuff I run 13.7-8's at a little over 100. Plus, with those 4.6's they are expensive as hell to major mod them, like almost a grand just to install headers. Plus, up to 99 they had dung for horsepower. That's just my .02

I'm sure you meant 93 Cobra not 92.
Bad-*** car that I will own someday
hey now guys, lets take it easy on this guy, he's come here with just a real question. no flames, no trolling.. pretty rare for someone coming from the mustang world to here!
anyway, steedaboy, if this helps at all.. I raced a 2000 GT when I was stock except for a catback. Of those, this was at palmdale raceway, which is at 2800ft. elevation. He had pulleys, bassani x-pipe, and exhaust/intake.
He ran a 14.3 to my 14.5. Ouch! I got beat by a mustang! I wanted to cry.
it was a close race though.. very close - we were dead even until after the 1/8th mile mark, which is when he barely started creeping past me.

Times in signature, unfortunatly the local track is only a 1/8th track.
This was on 100,000 mile motor with factory plugs...
I have to give the stangs there props though, I am helping a friend work on his right now.

Ok guys... lets remember the original question here. He is looking for real world stock 1/4 and 1/8 mile times for the A4 and M6. Lets not turn this into a "this car beats x car" type thread because I'll have to move it if it continues. Thanks
Best time is in the sig. My first two runs were a 14.2 and a 14.1, then a more experienced driver took it and banged off a 13.9 on a 90,000 mile engine with all the crap still in the car. I was happy enough, now the mods begin.

My bad, I thought it was a 93 but I do believe it was a 92. It was teal and a long time ago...it was a real clean car...when he found it...in baytown to you H-town guys, it was in a ditch totally stripped down...his two earlier cars were found in baytown and the 95 cobra has never been found. Oh well, and to boot, the insurance didn't give him half of what they were "really" worth. I like mustangs, but I don't think I could ever give up my LT1...even for an LS1...believe me the trouble I am going through to keep this LT1 as "new" as possible.

I love my Camaro to death and I enjoy Camaro's more than any other car but you can't deny the Stang. With some smart mods and good builds, they can be QUICK. You can't deny the sound of a Stang either. They have a almost perfect sound for a car. With a good exhaust setup, the GT sounds immaculate. I've always loved their sound.

EDIT: Nice car but your listing 2 trannies on your website, a TH350 with a converter and a 6 speed both listed under mods. Don't tell me that while i'm swapping to my drag radials your swappin trannies.

DarkHorse if you were to acctualy open your eyes and read you would see that it said used to have.. then the six speed was at the bottom of that list. the car has a th350 with a 3600 stall. Sorry to confuse you.
