We did replace the cut wire and the belt. I don't no how long the wire has been like this. I think the guy at the dyno my have done this when he was getting the clamp on #2 plug wire.

Welcome to my world. I found out that my belt was half way off the crank pulley so i replaced it. Afew days later it shredded in half. So now im driving around with a belt thats half the width. How old is your belt tentioner?

Could the cam still be a tooth off with no leaks?

If you got a dial caliper with a long enough needle, you could proabably check the duration off one of the lifters.

Maybe the dyno just didn't like your camaro.

maybe the timing is not aggressive enough, but that should only be a few HP. I guess we need to think of all the possible causes of HP robbing, including inaccurate dyno!

I think the problem is you started a new thread to give the results of the leakdown test. You could have put this info as a post on the original thread, so people could refer to the dyno results you probably posted there, and see what others have previously identified as the possible problem. Now there is no way for anyone to know the details of your original problem, unless they do a "search" and try and find your original post. Most people will not take the time. That's why its a good idea to keep the entire problem in a single thread.
