You have to realize that it isnt Chris's fault that the headers are taking longer then usual to get coated just as it wasnt his fault when my heads took longer then usual to get. As i said before he doesnt own the other companies.

It's not about the wait so much as being told my order was in stock and ready to ship numerous times.

Buddy, I'm only passing along the information that was given to me. I'm seriously not sitting at my desk saying.. HAHA lets mess with Bret and give him the wrong information. I wouldn't want someone to do that to me, and I'm sure as hell not going to do that to someone else.

Retail is nothing but middle man and its not an easy business. It seems like it is from the ouside in. But when your information and products come from the manufacturer, it makes me look bad. When I used to make F-Body suspensions in house, I never had this problem at all, its because I was in charge of production and shipping.

As soon as a header ships from pacesetter I get an email with who it is and the tracking numbers. The second I get yours, I will email it to you I promise. I even sent an email over to the General Manager today trying to put a rush on your order. Its not that I'm not trying, its just a really hot item right now. This is quite minor actually, I've had Springs on back order from MAC for over a year now, 3 months STILL on back order for LS1 AFR heads, I'm sold out of LT1 shorty headers that were due over a month ago. I have edelbrock products still on back order for 2 months. Its not easy.

Loadre- Your PM box is full, I emailed your tracking information to your email address instead. I sent you this information the night I got the info from the warehouse. Let me know if your hotmail account didn't get this email. I tell you, a majority of my emails end up going into the spam filter because of the business name in the email FROM: field.

Nick Johnson, same thing with you, I emailed and PMed your tracking information.

Looking in from the outside, and as a business owner what I see is RPE probably could have used a little more "patience" in dealing with buggy customers. Unfortunately, when you choose to be in business, you take the good with the bad..100's of customers that do business with you and you never hear a complaint or whimper..and 10 customers who drive you insane. Thats just part of doing business. From the emails, it looks like RPE was just trying to appease everyone. It plain out sucks to be caught as a middleman and have someone else controlling the product you are selling. The smaller your business, the worse that scenerio is, too. RPE is right..he is getting the brunt for his suppliers (and aftermarket coatings guy) lag time.

In the customers defense..things shouldn't have been promised that weren't possible. I do believe RPE had some insight to the shipping delays. If RPE was in the loop, I'm sure they are updated as to whats going on in the pipeline. Then again, its obvious by RPEs presence here that he's not out to scam anyone.

Sounds by the feedback RPE has a nice product, and everyone is getting their product.
