He already stated that he was aware he is $30-40 cheaper than anyone else. It seems like, in your case, that he is using that to justify sh***y customer service. Personally, i would pay more money for something if i know a company will send them out in a reasonable amount of time, and provide me with professional customer service. If i were you i would get my refund and go elsewhere. Make him pay for his arrogance. You would think people would learn that the better you treat customers, the more repeat business you will recieve. On top of that, word of mouth is a hell of a marketing tool. Not too impressive...

yea, its kind of a crap shoot with these guys, it seems like people who bought headers a month ago were happy with the service because it wasn't very busy, now that its warmer and people have money to spend they are swamped and can't handle the volume of the orders so it takes weeks. I ordered my uncoated headers about a week ago and ups says i should get them tomarrow, which isn't totally unreasonable but when it gets past 2 weeks i would be really pissed. Just my $.02 on the whole deal.

Yeah... this is reminding me of www.FTforce.com ... a whole bunch.... Took them A month and a half to send me a B&M ripper shifter and a Billet shifter ****. I ordered them in august... and I installed them in October... LOFL's ... but this REdline guy is sounding pretty arrogant in his e-mail. WHy spend your money there. I'd ask for a refund promptly and get a nice deal on the Ebay Pace setters and just have them coated. Can't beat ebay for prices!

...BTW this is the old FTforce.com.... not hte CustomRacer site. THey brought hte address after FTforce collapsed.

I sent him this email knowing he would post it up here. I am sick of you sending me email after email after email and calling me 5 times a day. I am not the one shipping these headers, they are coming from the manufacturer. And as many times as I tell you, you can't seem to get it through your thick skull. So far your every email has the same content. There is a point when you are wasting my time, and your time.. it has come. I have never had a customer bug me this much about his order. It will not get your headers there any sooner. You have no clue what is it like to own your own shop and take care of other customers and have you keep on, and keep on and keep on and keep on. Well damnit I can't magically put them at your house, as much as I would love to have them there right now, well they aren't. The manufacturer of these headers, also the one shipping will have your headers going out. I will email you the tracking number as soon as I get it, and you can't make that happen sooner by emailing me every day complaining about them.

I know when I ordered my headers from REDLINE they were closed that week but the headers still got shipped out on time. I was kinda worried cause when I would call no one would answer or anything. I did send a few emails to see what was up cause my money came out of my account instantly but no one could tell me anything about the status of my order. I did get a confirmation number and the tracking number once things were shipped. No need to worry man. They do great business and once you receive the headers you will realize it was worth the wait!

You are damn right that I send emails asking the status of my order. You never sent one email unless I sent one to ask something. I don't care how many times i sent you an email if you were a professional business you would not speak to me like this.:blah:

I have responded to your emails and have been giving you information about your order, its just not the information that you want to hear. I'm sorry I don't make these headers or coat them. And you are constitantly beating a dead horse by emailing me time and time again with the same question after I have already given you the answer to. I don't know what more you want. If I'm told 1 week by the manufacturer then I tell you one week. The week goes by and nothing. You come to me, I go to them, they say one more week. I tell you one more week. You guys need to understand that a lot of the shipping delays have nothing to do with the reatailer, and the retailer gets the ABUSE all of the time, never the manufacturer. Dude seriously, if these headers were in my shop boxed up at the time of ordering, you would have them on your car right now. You can cross me off your list all you want, but again, the retailer gets ragged because of the manufacturer. You can look at how many people have been very pleased with our service by going through posts with "redline performance" on them. I stand behind what I have said and my stress level related to this guys order, you don't know what its like not having the product from the manufacturer on time and your customers wondering where its at. If I made these headers and coated them myself, you can better believe they would be on your car by now.

Never once did you tell me one more week. In fact this is what you said 5/11/04 1 " all of our coated headers came back from the coaters yesterday, they are being boxed and shipped in the next day or two".

5/16/04
2 " Hello we ship all back orders first and each order is a first come
first serve serve basis. We used up all of the headers filling
previous orders, your headers will ship with the batch that came
back on Friday. They take about a day to get re-packaged then put
back in inventory to ship. I will forward you the tracking info
once it ships. The reports are sent out to us about a day after
they ship".

5/18/04
3 " You have no clue of what regulations I have to follow with Visa. In
fact once an order is placed I have all rights to charge for what
parts are ordered. These are shipping direct from Pacesetter, I am
not in charge of how long it takes to coat them, I pass along the
information I get from them, to you. Its noted on our website that
it takes up to 10 days to ship coated headers these, we are only a
few days behind schedule. You are the only customer griping about
how long its taking. All of the other 50 sets of headers I have on
order right now are just fine with waiting. Your headers are
shipping out today, and if not today then they are shipping out
tomorrow. So hang in there they will be there before you know it".

I dont know about you, but I'm not beating this dead horse anymore. Your headers are going to ship and the second I get the tracking information by the company shipping them I will send it to you. I'm much to busy to keep arguing about why the manufacturer hasn't shipped the headers out yet.

Ive done business with RPE and my order took longer then usual too just becuase patriot was redoing thier heads i at no time blamed Chris and RPE for this becuase it was not their problem. Chris did all that he could to get my heads in and thats all we can ask for becuase thats all he can do. He does not own the other companies so he is very limited towards what he can do he is just like any other person and all he can do is call. I dont understand why some people dont seem to realize that. I Guarantee you will get your parts if you order from him. Some of you all should grow up and realize that **** happens and its a part of life.
