Shipping Times

Well shipping times are usually either/or with coated

Uncoated almost always ship out with-in 24 hours

its Either, in stock at the time of order and it goes out in 24 to 48 hours..

OR its at the coater or on it way to the coater.

Coated headers run a weekly cycle, Headers go out on Monday or Tuesday to the coaters, they take approx 5 to 7 BUSINESS days to return.. Then they are packaged very nicely, boxed and put back in inventory. Which takes about 1 to 2 days to do depending on the amount of headers. Then they ship.. So if you order your headers on Thursday or Friday, chances are all of the coated headers are spoken for and your headers will go out for coating on the following batch, which is the longer wait becuase you are right in the middle of the order/shipping cycle. So the best bet is to order a set on the First or Middle of the week to get your headers out the door for sure the next batch.. Or email me before you place your order, so I can make sure extra sets go.

This should give you some type of an idea on how the coated headers work.

Chris, I personally want to thank you for everything, including referring my case to your general manager (even though I am sure that I was just 1 of many...)

I think it's official that RPE has cleared their name of any weird activity - Thanks again, I'll be on the look out for these LTs...

i think the biggest reason you are getting slammed on orders, is that you are pretty much the only people i have seen that can actually get the pacesetter lt1 long tubes. These things are awesome and i cant wait for my set to arrive to replace my bbks. There is strong support of these things, so your likely to get orders coming in like crazy for a while. -Michael

Now that you have mentioned this, I'd just like to stress what I mentioned above... that I don't think it matters who coats the headers so long as they are being done by a competent person! I have seen where a popular well known coater had some less than stellar stuff go out. Why? Not exactly sure but it could be that they were too busy and skimped on the prep or had a new guy doing it or something else? Either way, just wanted to mention this to people so they don't start requesting the coating by a particular company because that could really start to confuse things. LOL!

The headers I ordered from you looked great so it doesn't really matter much to me who did it so long as they were done correctly and it appears as though they were

Yes I do realize that there are only about 5 or so other companies out there that really sell these like I do. A few losers on ebay who try to make it with them but never do. And the others are about 30 to 40 dollars a set higher than my price.

I emailed that tracking number to Nick Johnson.

I refered your case to Fred Gerle who is the general manager of pacesetter, I am the owner/operator of Redline Performance Engineering. We are 2 seperate companies. He is who sent you that email.

Brent, you're absolutely correct. Its not the name brand on the coating. Its the coating that will last the longest, and keep those underhood temps down. Be it Jet-Hot or the other company they use, they both coat the same type of coating which lasts a long time. REMEMBER THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE COATED HEADERS COMING, OR ALREADY RECIEVED. Keep your invoice that was emailed to you from us. YOU HAVE A 3 WARRANTY ON THE COATING. KEEP THAT IN MIND!!!

Just thought I would share with you how redline "is sick of me wasting his time" I placed a order for coated headers may 5th. I was told on the 11th they were in stock would ship in a day or two. I wait a week and hear nothing. So I email and they tell me my order will ship out in a day or two again. I wait week and nothing
so by now I have sent them a couple emails complaining because they don't let me know about delays even after they told me it was in stock They clearly stated in this thread all backorders have shipped so I ask for a Tracking Number guess what once again they have not shipped. So I email and complained and he sends me this email

"Okay I'm about one more email away from sending you a refund for your headers and letting you pay the higher costs to someone else and make you wait even longer . You can keep emailing me and crying about your headers.. BUT IT WILL NOT MAKE THEM GET THERE ANY SOONER! So stop wasting my time and yours. You can post this email on camaroz28.com but I'm sure most of the other people will agree, you can keep complaining all you want but it will not get them to you any sooner. I'm really getting sick of you wasting my time".
