Very nice numbers. I'm glad to see the lt1 world stepping up with the ls1 guys. Its like nothing was really developed or tested with these cars untill the ls1s started kicking our butts. Now we have NA 23 deg lt1 heads hanging with the bad *** big bore 15 deg ls1 cars. Think what joes car could do with a 15 deg head. I know when the weather gets good my car will go into the 10s...hopeing for a 10.7s at 126ish. I'm also a gm casting lt1 headed car(no afrs etc....worked stock heads) but just a 355...no stroker and a 6 speed. Glad to see the lt1 cars stepping up and doing the deal.

Joe...one question..what are you guys doing to the lt1 intakes...I would like to know as I'm gonna be battling the ls1s in modified stock at the thunder shootout. I know I'm outgunned but gonna give em hell. All help would be appreciated..hehehe.

Damn! Nice numbers. A dynojet would be nice cuz most people on here use that, so it makes a better comparison. Congrats.

yea..its pretty big..but you would be really suprised how tame it sounds at idle and how well it drives. I know with some good afrs I have alot of hp left on the table with this cam...but I want to see how far I can take a small cubed lt1 headed car.

FWIW, the Dyno Dynamics can be loaded to make higher or lower numbers than the Dynojet. Then you have STD vs SAE corrections. I have a hunch you'd probably see lower 400s SAE corrected on a dynojet but who cares, its still awesome power!

I did some checking on the dynamic dyno in question....being i could really care less since we gained from 419 to 452 on the same dyno and that was my goal.. I still however did extensive digging to satisfy my own mind...seems the dynamics dyno and mustang dyno read about the same ....hence lower than than standard dynojet...So who knows unless the operator has compensated for the differential between the two ...Its possible it may be higher on a different dyno...Boy would that make the chaffeing some are getting from this thread get real bad in hurry...

What honda's are you referring to? A new Accord? In the land here of 88 - 95 civics, they weigh in between 1800 - 2500 with nothing removed. 95 civic hatch with b18c1 swap, turbo kit, full interior, 16" wheels, Integra brakes, A/C, HEAVY CF hood, etc., weighes in at 2510. 89 CRX with B16A, A/C, 15" wheels, no interior (how much is in a CRX?, does have full carpet tho), 2010. 92 Civic CX with B16B CTR swap, no carpet or backseats - 2000 lbs. 95 Integra GSR full interior, a/c, ps, turbo kit, etc. 2530. The list goes on and on. Also, none of those cars have had a massive weight savings diet, as the ones with no interior were done for "the style". There is another couple guys here with CRX's with motor swap/turbos, and one weighs in at 1850, but he took out the bumper supports. Not disputing traction, its always better in RWD, but weight DOES play a factor. Also, the second time you say 300 lbs wouldn't gain him but .4 in the 1/4, the first time you said 800 lbs wouldn't gain him much. I picked up close to 7 mph (based on cars I run with on the street) with 40 HP (peak) , don't have an e.t. yet, but if I could drop the 800 lbs, it would pick up close to the same.
