Well how do you think I felt when I had my BIG dollar AFR LT4's and my CC306 cam getting TROUNCED by a tinshed ported stock LT1 head and a back woods configured cam??? Want video? It's available. Me vs Kimber on a closed taxiway. How's that for results. That was before. The after; The only thing we didn't do the second time around was shoot video again but lets just say we could have swapped CD's from the 40-50 mph sprint we ran the second time (after Joe and Eric's work). Hell and I did that with the top down and all my crap in the car before Joe's tuning.
Do you really think I wanted to spend even more money on my heads and another cam? .....After I rode in James' car and after he wore my a** out on the taxiway I couldn't wait to write that check.

Anyway... so the story goes... all you have to do is wait until there's some decent weather and run the numbers. I'll be looking forward to seeing them and perhaps we may run into eachother at the track and have a showdown.

Bring it Biaaatch!
I suck but oh well.
I still have those AFR's just not with their original port and bowl work.
I was charged nothing as well. Joe has helped me out in more ways than I can count. I would not be anywhere near what my car is capable of without his experience. He brought up a good point. He doesn't need the work. He and Eric wouldn't loose sleep if they never touched another fbody. I think Joe just wanted to prove that his car is no fluke and that it's about putting the whole package together and making it run. He is lightyears ahead with some of the things that he is doing. All of which he learned from making his own car go VERY FAST. All I can say is Joe, you are first class.

I was hoping that I would be able to reply to this thread ... and, after this weekend's results, I can. I got in touch with Joe based on input from James (Quickshotkimber). Joe and I talked several times and he agreed to set me up with a cam. Here's the twist - I have a thirdgen
It's a naturally aspirated MiniRammed, ported AFR190, 700R4, long tube car that has the STOCK 350 shortblock and a 700R4 that has never been rebuilt. I was running a custom CC cam ... 230/245 on a 113LSA. This cam is very similar to the CC306 except that I specified an Xtreme lobe for a more aggressive intake and an extra degree of LSA. The difference between this cam and the Lethal EFI cam is night and day. Way more torque. The powerband comes on sooner and pulls harder. Proof?
Drove my IROC out to Cecil County. 2 hour drive each way. Street trim with swaybars, interior, etc. Bolted on a set of front skinnies and was running drag radials on stock IROC rims out back. End result...
60' : 1.624
330' : 4.765
1/8 : 7.424
MPH : 91.94
1000' : 9.731
1/4 : 11.665
MPH : 117.20
117mph from a stock 1990 350 through a 700R4 with a 3600 stall converter. The car is a beast. Funny thing is - it's got more left in it. This car will go 118mph if it holds together.
Joe - if you read this before I get a chance to call you then THANK YOU. Sorry it has taken me so long to get this accomplished. My wife and I (and newborn) just moved and everything was pretty crazy for awhile. But - I finally got it done and put down some numbers. I'll be going to the dyno in the next month or so and will have the raw numbers on that too.

Congrats on your run, that is one 3rd gen that is going to hurt some feelings out there especially driving to and from the track. Best of luck with it and I'm glad to hear Joe has another happy customer.
Hope you posted up in the 3rd gen forum that's outstanding!
