It is too late to revert to the stock setup as I have done the double roller setup, and after nearly 6 grand in engine bling, I dont feel like tearing it down again.
Also, Brent, if you still have a idea in your overfilled head on how to wire that setup, I would be interested in talking to you and giving it a shot. I could get you the photos you need to do a write up on it. I trust your inventiveness, so what do ya say

Anyway, I found on the Internet digital amp/current gauges with alarm functions. Cost was around $50 to $100. You can have all the lights you want hooked up to monitor voltage and there are several failures which you can't see by monitoring only a light of this type. However, an amp/current gauge will tell all
An amp/current gauge with alarm features is even better! If your pump normall draws 5 amps you could set a low alarm and high alarm. The low alarm would be good for a broken shaft, a wire disconnected, etc. That's my idea anyway
I've had mine for almost 3 years and over 15,000 miles.
When I put it on the car was a daily driver. I did have the relay go out once and the temp does go up VERY fast.
I haven't used the car for a daily driver for quite a while but this thread makes me nervous.
If you go out of town on a cruise or something very far it sounds like you almost need a spare pump with you.
I had no idea this many people were having these pumps go out with that low of miles.
I thought when these came out that they were supposed to last almost as long as a factory pump.
