Exclamation maf translator tune

ok guy i have a maf translator and trying to get started the proble is that the conections it has were the wrong 1 so i hard wired it so when i plug it into the MAF it throws a code don't know which 1 because i have nothing to check it with. This is for a 94 Camaro LT1. The translator has 4 switches.

Switch 1: On=6 cylinder Off=8 cylinder

Switch 2: On=Old style ECM(Turbo V6,TPI V8) Off=New style PCM(LT1,LS1,SC3800,Truck

Switch 3: On=Output signal limited(blocks DTC Code 102 on OBDII vehicles)
Should also be set to ON for Grand Nation/ retrofit vehicles that are NOT running extender chips

Switch 4: 'Late model vehicles: ON=85 mm MAF on cars that were originally equipped with 3.5"

Ok iI know switches 1 & 2 should be off but what about 3&4???????

I wuld appriaciate if u guys could really help me!!!!!!!

Seems that since you don't have OBD-II, you would leave #3 off, and since your car did not come with a 3.5" MAF that has been switched to 85mm you would leave #4 off.

Re: maf translator tune

Or sell the translator and get a real tune and come out WAY WAY ahead of this halfassed crap.
Translators are useful on cars where the pcm is not easily and cheaply accessed as these are.
