It is not that your engine, or even a few others exist...no denying that a few average motors exist. But what about all the high end motors? What about all the 650hp 396s? What about all the motors that support his 'bin there done that' comments?

Remember who the questions are for. You and your motor (even the 3-4 others on this board) don't support the claims.

Yep. Probably a good idea. We wouldn't want to give someone like Lloyd an opportunity to come offer some substantiation to support his "best cam designer in the world - bar none". You have to believe that if anyone is closer to being able to offer credibility, it would be him and interestingly, not a word.

Unless you're worried that a site sponsor may be subject to scrutiny too, but then why would that matter now anyway? The sponsors mentioned herein have already been insulted once.

 

There is minimal childplay going on right now. Someone wants to know the credibility of an engine builder. Whats the problem with that? If you mods lock this thread, that is rediculous if you ask me... It will die on its own if they continue to stay silent. At least give people a chance to respond to what's going on and continue to discuss things if need be, dont just lock threads when someone doesnt get praised every 5 seconds...

 

i'd like a picture of him in front of his cam cutting machines. thats a simple request or a small video of him looking at the outside of his "race shop". then go inside and do a guided tour. would be cool to see all the equipment in there. you don't need to show any items for your customers, just machines you use daily. you folks have a great day.

 

I was always under the impression that the cam was designed by Bret and then cut by Comp Cams and sent to Bret where he ensured that it was accurate.

I personally wouldn't really have a problem with that.

 

Bret said he has no intrest in building any stroker and lloyd does not build them so why do you bring them up. I don't know bret well and have never bought from either of those 2. Why do you keep bringing them up? Lets say bret knows nothing at all and doesen't even have a shop...let it be.......why do you keep bothering with this. If you think he isn't worth a crap then put down who is...the post was asking a question Who builds a good motor...bret says he is not interested anyway...so wtf you keep bringing him up man? This is very childish and the main reason why i stopped coming to this site years ago....
