The instructions were pretty good. The pictures were very helpful. On my car when the AIR pump was removed the bracket was still on there, so I had to remove that to put the new bracket on. I haven't started the car yet, as I have to extend the wires. But it looks like the alignment is pretty good. The biggest problem was actually getting the alternator into position because of the sway bar and the cooling fan motor. But it does squeeze in there.

I did find out that I have both a front and rear main oil seal leak. The worst part is I just replaced the rear main seal when I had the tranny and clutch out last fall.
I dont know how much of a hurry your in Chad, but I am making a extension harness out of plug ends from work. I will measure it to my motor and give it a few extra inches. Trying to make it a plug/play type thing. When I make mine, I will just make two of them

That would be cool. Just make sure the wire you use for the extension is one size larger than the existing wire. I.E. if the existing wire is 12 AWG you want to use 10 AWG for the extension.

I figured you and Joe can help design it when we wire up my car in a week or so.

I think one of the best advantages is the ability to use aftermarket valve covers. And for people who have really "cleaned out" their engine compartments it really makes it look better

Timberworlf:

I wasnt trying to knock the shop or the designer. I realize all the work and all the costs, but 200$ is too much to ME. I am not one of those guys who burns CD's or whatever it was you said. I just look at something that is for sale and say, "I can make that". I would rather sacrifice my time and make something myself to save money because I dont have a lot of it. I also get a lot of satisfaction knowing that I MADE and installed the stuff on my car.
Yes I know how much stock is these days, but I buy scraps by the pound from a local machine shop, so its not too bad for me.

Regardless of what I think of the price it is a nice part and will be great for all those that dont have the time or the knowledge to make one. Cars and car parts have become so over priced these days it just gets under my skin sometimes, not saying that this is overpriced, just too much in my eyes.

Best of luck with it.
