LT1 Alternator Relocation Bracket is DONE FINALLY

Some of you may remember at the beginning of winter I was looking for people to buy in to make a bracket for the LT1 that kept PS, AC, and the alternator. Moving things around, but keeping ALL FACTORY systems. Well, a few of you jumped on, and I thank you for that. You bracket should ship out this week I thought you would all like to see what it looks like, so below are a few pictures of it finished. One powdercoated and one polished. You will also be able to purchase one thru a certian site sponsor VERY soon. I dont get a single dime of this, I let the Engineering shop run with it totally. I just wanted the LT1 guys to have the setup that GM should have done in the first place Or at least something like what should have been done. So anyway, thanks again.

Nice brackets. Too bad you can't use them with a S/C

I don't get how there is no cutting involved? you just leave the old alternator bracketr sticking up in the air? something still has to hold the ac/ ps.

not bashing this product at all, just trying to learn about it... it wouldn't be to hard to cut either way.

The small pulley setup actually bolts across the bracket where the alternator use to sit. The alternator goes to the driver side lower. No cutting involved at all.

As for the SC part, yeah that is a bummer. But where the hell would you put it??? Plus I dont have a supercharger to work around, or that might have been a option

If anyone is interested, I ordered a polished one, but ended up going a different route. It is for sale.

Your gonna have to wait till either one of the orginal buyers sends me photos, or till I reinstall my motor in about 3 weeks I want to see it on as well

I would definetly buy it if I were interested in that setup but you could of went further by making the altenator bracket adjustable so you could eliminate all the other stuff. I like that bracket for the alt and like it in that spot but its not adjustable. Sniff Sniff
