Wouldn't this require a new balancer pulley?

That wasnt the idea. The idea was to KEEP all the factory stuff, while still being able to change the valve covers and adjust the valves without grinding the alternator or eliminating something.

Nope, designed on my motor with a factory balancer on it.

I'd be worried about a lot of belt slippage. How is the belt layed out for this? Stock routing, and just going to the alt. on the other side of crank hub?

I understand your concern, I had it as well. I was convinced by the shop who makes this that it is fine. They showed me a similar setup on a supercharged dodge ram that had no belt slip and worked flawlessly. If your interested and feel like waiting, by all means do. But I have the shops assurance that any problems would be covered cost free, and there shouldnt be any problems in the first place

It looks like it shouldn't cost much. Any idea if it will be reasonably priced?

What is reasonably priced to you To me it is alot more since I helped pay for this thing to be made. But as far as I know, I believe starting price is 200 bucks, and goes up according to what finish you choose be it powdercoat, polished, chrome, or satin.

And I promise you that is the exact same price I paid for mine as well. It is very worth it if you want to move stuff around

Nice job on the setup. I'd really like to see it installed on a vehicle...

I understand that a lot of work went into the manufacturing of this product, but honestly, do you think it costs nearly that much to make it? And, I am not talking about the invested money. Any business should know that the invested money in a project should be considered expendable and expected to be made back over time. They need to take a cut and let quantity sold pay for the project, not high prices. Althought they will have a monopoly until other people pick up on the design.
