Guys InjectedSS was correct.A local Autozone here "Northern Florida"has the same exact thing as he got.A friend "that bought one from them already" told me they had them there and i just got off the phone with them.
The person i talked to at Autozone said that they used to not come with cap/rotor,but they were having alot of issues with people buying just the lifetime warranty opti electronics and putting old cap/rotors on them and burning up the opti then returning them for another new one.So now they come with the opti,cap,rotor..
He also said it might take a little bit to get all the old stock used up.And if you go to Autozone and buy a part # 30-1833 and it doesn't come with cap/rotor to not buy it and try another Autozone..He said all the Autozone stores should of gotten a memo telling them this..He also said it is not uncommon for the memo's to not be read, cause sometimes there are alot of different parts listed..
I am going to buy the opti, and i'll just replace mine every year or so,can't beat a lifetime warranty..i just have to convert mine to vented style..so i have a few other parts to buy as well..
Anyway just wanted to let you guys know, and that InjectedSS was only trying to help out,and he was correct...
Thanks InjectedSS cause without this thread i would of never even thought of an Autozone opti..lol..

like u said makes me not want to say anything anymore about anything that could help someone out
went to auto zone i saw all the opti parts they had 30 1833 i think that was the number was just one part not the whole thing i belive ss because the autozone guys said that stuff like that happends all the time not that i doughted ss. i just bought a new gm one for 195
So lets get this straight.
If I go to autozone.com and buy a vented opti, I will get the whole setup, but not if I go to the local autoze(which I just did)
My sig says a 94, but I have a 95 engine in it BTW

Ok, autozone is selling off their inventory of the old stuff and the new one will be a complete unit.
Go to autozone and order the 1833 part number, they should special order it for you.
It is supposed to come complete but its only for the newer style vented opti.
If you have a 92/94 vette or 93/94 F body then you don,t get this great deal cause you no got the vented opti.
If you have the old style opti your best bet is Jason Cromer for a complete opti.

I spoke to a mechanic at a dealership and he told me that when the water gets in where the spark plug wires plug in... is that true?
