PS...HP is a function of TQ, meaning HP is calculated from a measured TQ at a measured RPM. With a car's known weight, gear ratios, coefficient of drag, altitude and rolling resistance, it is possible to closely "judge" what a cars ET and MPH should be. There are online calculators with these functions built in. Now you've seen somebody judge ET by torque output.
That's a lot of caring for a figure (especially using an online calculator which can vary as much as dyno to dyno) which means nothing in straight line performance, but to each their own. So, when you see a car make a pass do you run up to the driver and ask for appropriate data for you to input?
The simple fact of the matter is the output from this setup seems high as everyone has mentioned and it is either from an inaccurate dyno or this car responds well to what has been done. MPH will be a good indicator as to which one, or maybe both are true. Hopefully we'll find out soon enough.
BTW, does NAPA really do valve jobs? I may utilize that on an old set of heads I have for our truck if its true.
Is this supposed to be a smartass remark? If so, I didn't realize one could be so sensitive when discussing difference of opinion over something as trivial as dyno output.

I'm not sure how you took that as a "smart *** remark" and drew a conclusion of sensitivity from it. It was a serious question aimed at the member who had the work done at NAPA. You're something else...

That's why it was in question form. Wasn't sure since the person you were directing it to was not addressed in your post.
