I don't know why anybody would question these results. Any slight improvements in head flow will result in a significant increase of HP. Why do you think LS1's make so much power even on a stock cam? Because LS1 heads are a superior design.
Most people don't port their heads and leave a stock cam in place and therefore people aren't used to seeing these sorts of results. slomarao, did you happen to go with larger valves too, or did you just do some minor port work?

no, the heads and intake work is mainly just gasket matching, removing stubborn rough spots, edges, etc. It only took about 5 hrs of labor to do what my buddy did.

But to credit him he works at a machine shop, has tons of experience with tool & dye, etc, etc.

Ya i hate the fact that everyone will tell me its BS but when i ask who wants the graph everyone shuts up?/??

So, i guess no one wants it, and since cant figure out how to post it ill just leave things be.

I don't thik anyone has called BS but it is a pretty high number for the type of work you have done.. But hey maybe you got one of those freak engines that come along from time to time. Back in my fox body stang days you would come across one out of the few which was just dead nuts faster than the rest out of the box...

Since the heads have been "worked" this is no longer a bolt-on car. Even so, as stated that output is high. IMO w/ 340rwhp with an average weight f-body (say 3650 w/ driver) it should run 107 to 109 at a sea level track in good weather.
To the track you go!

Good numbers, don't worry about all the people questioning you. You posted mods and if you want I'll post the sheet for you. Email me at ulakovic22@yahoo.com. I agree though, I don't see why it's so hard for people to believe your numbers with the mods you listed. Full bolt on with no emissions and light headwork seems reasonable to me. If you decide to take it to the track good luck

I will call BS. Not a bolt on LT1.

No record for you.

ulakovic22- Thanx, i sent it to your email address.

Thanks for the nice comments. Everyone keeps bashing me about this, geting old.

Dude you are too sensitive, no one is bashing you.

No point getting your panties all wadded up like this. You have a quick car, no doubt there. You are just posting results (without a chart) that are a good bit above average and that opens the door to questioning. Plus all dynos are different as we all know, you don't need this much stress. Again no one called BS on you numbers. Plus you are NOT a bolt on LT1 since the heads are worked. This can not be disputed.

Shut up and post the chart, take it to the track and post the slips. You are good for low 13's and high 12's on average.

You called BS a couple posts ago and you keep pointing out he's not a bolt on car. I don't remember him saying anything about being bolt on ONLY, he hasn't tried to hide the fact he has headwork and even posted it in his mods list. I don't see what's with all the bullsh!t on this board lately, everyone wants to bullsh!t and bad mouth everyone. He's offered to post his sheet too but no one would help him out until I said I would last night. If you want to bash him for not posting a chart why not offer to host it for him instead, he sure as hell has asked plenty of times for help. Fu(king internet cowboys.......

Ive said it before. Whoever wants the graph post your email.

The above statement implies to me that he is camparing his car to other BOLT ON cars. Why would he reference the record BOLT ON car if you were not trying to make comparisons.

Come to think of it, I can do that too. I made 85 RWHP more than the record BOLT on LT1 also. If I made that stupid statement, I would get challeged in a split second.

I know he did not claim to be a bolt on car, I pointed out that its comparing apples to oranges. NO ONE CALLED BS ON THE NUMBERS.

i was referencing that because of how high my numbers and thats the close to what i have. Wasnt trying to say i have a bolt on car only.

Also i not sensitive, just dont like being called a liar. Anyways i really dont want to have this thread turing into a pissing contest and have people just flame it up.

My advise is to throw the dyno chart out the window, and post a time sheet.. Dyno's are fun but they should not be used to calculate ET, like alot of people do on this forum.. Go to the track and then post your ET that should settle the native's

Dyno's are a useful tool but not the absoulute answer

Chassis dyno's are great for figuring things out however I (me) rarely put alot of faith into the numbers it kicks out. Take it to the track, get the "truth numbers".

We've all seen our share of under performing dyno queens.

5 hours worth of grinder work with a person who knows what they are doing is a ton of time spent and that work should lead to some impressive gains.

This engine doesn't fit into "bolt-on only" territory but does make decent power and it should with port work. I think the fastest bolt-on cars all were in the 320hp/320tq range, mine only has 308hp/308tq however I've been the quickest to date, but not the fastest.

Go to www.imageshack.us and upload your dynograph picture file there. It will give you an internet link you can post anywhere you want on the internet, including this thread. It is a free hosting service and it is easy.
