500+ Rwhp
Re: 500+ Rwhp
Ron, It's so pretty after it's glass beaded! I only do the powder in black and red because I have tried clears and silvers and none of them look good or hold up to anything. Pics aren't a issue. Just shoot me a e-mail on it.

Second Letter: L = longitudinal or "North-South" or front engine rear wheel drive or 4WD/AWD based on RWD
Second Letter: T = Transverse or "East-West" for FWD or AWD based on FWD
Third/fourth digits = relative strength of transmission. 80 stronger than 60 which is stronger than 40 or 30. Usually the "5" in "65" means an upgraded "60"
E = electronic controls.
So 6L80-E is a 6-speed longitudinal (front engine RWD) pretty strong electronically controlled automatic. STS-V and XLR-V and C6 now or soon.
4L60-E is the medium strength 3.06; 1.63; 1.00; .70 geared 4sp trans used almost everywhere in GM.
4L80-E is the beefier one based on the old THM 400 with gears of 2.48; 1.48; 1.00; .75
To confuse the issue more, GM labels them with a 3 letters/digits, just like most options: T56, MT1, Z28, Z06, LS7, M22, LS1, LS6, LM7 etc.
Homework question:
What is a GM VT25-E ??

415rwhp corrected with LT4 heads and intake. Looks like a cam close to a CC306 too.
Not bad, consider that we are doing that with LT1 castings now.
The funny part about that is the pics of Craig. I've talked to him on the phone and he's a funny SOB!

NONE!, as in ZERO
Everyone knows how to build one though or is in the process of building it and have been for the last 5 years.
