I noticed that you stated Keyless Entry was not offered. My '93 has keyless entry. Is mine aftermarket, then?

Both of my 93z's have had keyless entry. As stated before, a big ugly rectangular remote with two buttons.

I was looking for this thread the other day. There is nothing in the 93 Camaro ownwers manual about keyless entry. Could the ones that had(have) it be dealer installed? Can anyone that has a 93 with keyless entry verify that they have the RPO AU0 on their option sticker? That would validate that it was a factory option.

To further that thought, there is also no keyless entry listed in the parts CD I have for 1993 Camaro.

I do know it was available on the Firebird.

Oil pressure sender pics?

Does anyone have or could get pictures of the oil pressure sender on a 93?

It is right above the oil filter. LH side sticking out of the block. You should not be able to miss it.

LOL, no because I know that anything is possible! I guess if you don't find it there, look behind the intake manifold like the later ones are. Maybe it was moved. The factory location is as previously discussed.

Shoebox, you should archieve this thread or at least the first post. Someday this post will expire and a fountain of information will be lost.

How do you archive posts? Is it something the original poster or a moderator has to do? As you can tell I dont quite understand the archives.

Also, I was thinking that I might start another thread with just my original post. That way, there wont be all the extra pages to read. What do you think?

Here's a new one. In another thread someone said later model Z28's started at 160 degrees on the temp guage whereas the '93 starts at 100 degrees.

Can anyone confirm that 94+ models started at a higher temp?

I am ready to remove all doubt about this question. This was compiled from 1993-1997 owners manuals.

The oil pressure sending unit (on 93's) is on the driver's side of the block near the firewall, near the oil filter.. like you said.
