Didn't the production of the '92 Camaro float into 93 as well and that the 93 wasn't released until mid-year? If so that might account for it.

From what I have read and seen in the parts book, the A.I.R. pump is not mounted on the engine on the 1993.

Read at http://web.camaross.com/forums/showt...&postid=302555 that he '93 only holds 4.5 quarts. Can anyone confirm? I believe all other years hold 5.

I guess it may be genetics but my 93 with a Mobile 1 filter only holds 4.5 and that fills it.

I noticed this, when I look in my 93 owners manual, the valve covers are that of a Vette, yet my 93 has regular center bolt valve covers.

I have a question. I was to going to buy a 93Z28 when they came out late in the model year by the way . I wanted to buy a M6 but I was told that they had stopped making the M6 temporarily ( plenty of A4's out ther) to change the transmisson ratio. That the first m6 they made had a lower 1st gear ratio (I don't remember the ratio like it was 3. something) and kept breaking rearends. So to fix the problem they changed gear ratio in first gear to 2.95 or something like that in the tranny and recalled the tranny's with the other ration.

I may be completely wrong but it is something I always wondered about. Btw I ended waiting for the 94Z I couldn't find a 93 m6 new.

I would have to disagree with the statement
"93's are just plain faster"

I raced a 93 M6 before.....no sweat I took him by a car and a half when I only had K&N CAI and Flowmaster muffler.
