Metal fan on a CS 144 alternator is a 124 amp [uses a bolt to attach pos 'BAT'wire..]
Plastic fan is the 140 amp [uses a stud and nut to attach the pos 'BAT cable]
I believe that's the difference on them .. the amp rating..

Was the heater hose “t” still there in 95 cars?
nO THERE IS NOT A T IN THE WATERPUMP HOSE GOING TO THE THROTTLE BODY. ALSO THERE IS A "T" ON THE UPPER RADIATOR HOSE THAT COMPLETES THE THROTTLE BODY COOLING. ONCE AGAIN 95'S DO NOT HAVE THAT EITHER.

Does the 93 require a 93 only AFPR & can it use a TPI AFPR? A TPI UNIT SHOULD WORK JUST FINE
Are the 94+ AFPR’s located on the driver side? THEY ARE DIRECTLY ON THE REAR OF THE FUEL RAIL
Is there stretchy stuff on the visors in 93? NO THERE IS NOT STRETCHY STUFF ON 93'S
94'S? ON 2 94'S I HAVE SEEN NO
How do you correct the speedo gear for automatics? manuals?
TO CORRECT THE SPEEDO YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE TAILSHAFT OF THE TRANS AND REPLACE THE SPEEDO GEARS INSIDE. OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD I BELIEVE IT IS A 15 AND 45 TOOTH FOR A 3.73 GEAR IN A AUTO. AS FOR A MANUAL I AM UNSURE. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A DIFFERENT GEAR RATIO HAVE THEM LOOK UP ANY CAR OR TRUCK THAT CAME WITH A 700R4 FROM PAST YEARS THAT HAS YOUR CURRENT RATIO.

ALSO DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE Z28 BADGES ON THEIR DOOR PANELS NEAR THE SPEAKER GRILLS? ON LATER MODELS I HAVE NOT SEEN IT.

ONE LAST THING. THE DASH PAD OVER THE PASS. AIR BAG SAYS "AIR BAG" NOT CAMARO.

SORRY FOR POSTING IN ALL CAPS. WANTED YOU TO DEPICT MY WRITING FROM YOURS.

Heater hose has a “T” in it (possibly up until 1995 (unconfirmed) going to the throttle body...
Correct in 95 that ended..

Is there stretchy stuff on the visors in 93? 94+?
My 94 has it..

Also, 93 & 94 had 'black' roofs... Starting in 95 they matched car color..
94 & 95 Formulas and Trans Ams [not 93]had the 'performance shift option..
93 has single wire O2's.. [unheated..]

NO THEY DIDN'T

You think the GM engineers just put whatever tranny they had lying around into the cars?

ALL automatic 93's are 4L60's, and practically identical to 700R4's, except better in some manners.
</font>
Is the only difference betwen the 4L60 and 4L60E the electronic shift, do they take the same gasket and filter?? I know when I went to Auto Zone and got a filter and gasket for my 93Z it was specfically for a 700R4 not a 4L60E. I know because I did get the wrong one first and it defintly did not go on.

This is an awesome list I am going to copy it into a word document. You know how sometimes it can be confusing when odering parts when the guy's computer behind the counter says one thing and you know that the part they list is not for your 93,,, I love my 93.

93's Don't have Burst Knock which makes them very good for HP, that is one of the main reasons they are faster, they hardly ever show any knock at all unless its real.

I've got keyless entry for my 93Z. I never use it though. Im pretty sure it came from the factory becuase it is a GM remote. No alarm though.

My 93Z has full leather interior (door panels, front/rear seats, shifter **** and park brake, steering wheel) I did not buy the car new but I thought I read somewhere that leather was introduced at the end of the 93 model year. My car has a manufacture date of 01/93. I also have no "air bag" name on my passenger side dash (infact it says nothing) and only says "Camaro" on the steering wheel. I also have an elctrical wire coming from my tranny's tailshaft, 3.23 (GU5) rear gear with posi and disc, engine oil cooler, No stretchy on visors (I have dual vanity mirrors) No t-tops (I thought I heard all 93's were hard top coupes, no t tops that year?, I could be wrong) I think my car has almost every option as some one else stated they thought they did too. My RPO shows that my car was a dealer ordered car (1AY-Stock orders processing option) and not customer ordered (which would be 1AZ-Order modifiation, order sold)

Also, On 93's, you can flash codes on your dash by bridging terminals A and B in the slow where you plug in the scanner.
That is the the two top right terminals. Use a piece of wire, and then key on to on? that is the one before the car starts. Fans will come on, and flash codes. Code 12 will flash, which just means that you are in the terminal scan mode

No "air bag" written on pass. side because i believe there is not a pass. air bag. They put those in on 94 and up. Also the muffler is bolted to the i-pipe rather than welded as on later models.
