I beg to differ! My RPO options clearly show an AK5 listing and that is decoded to : RESTRAINT SYSTEM FRONT SEAT, INFLATABLE, DRIVER AND PASSENGER.

That's weird. Mine does not.

And I'm not sure if anyone mentioned this(didn't read all 4 pages), but my 93 does not have the stretchy strap on the visor to hold stuff.

Bralgar, he was saying that it just didn't say "airbiag" on the dash. They have airbags for the front people. Dragon, I guess you are the only one. My late 93 six clyinder does not say it. MAybe yours were deployed at some point and they just bought some used ones from somebody off of a message board.

Seriously, mine does say AIRBAG on the passenger side dash. That is weird that nobody else's does. I have a friend that has a 93' also....i'll have to check his out to see if his says it or not.

Also, no stretchy stuff on the visors for me also!

No, whitehooptie, re-read old93z's post. He clearly says

I was just informing him that 93's did indeed have dual airbags, whether it says it on the dash or not. My post was not meant to be derogatory, just informative.

I'm pretty sure it's called batch-fire injection, not multiport. Probably the same principle between the two.

Dragon- You should've mentioned on the other board that you wanted to know about 93 CAMARO's rather than Pontiac's as well.

Another thing I found out... I talked to several people who said 15" rims would not fit on the rear but they do. I don't think they do on later models but my 15" rims and ET streets had nearly 3/4 of an inch clearance between the rim and the caliper.

So did we ever find out if:

The spring seats/pockets are a different size than the 94-97 cars?

The 93s have hardened pushrods? (for use with guideplates)

EDIT: Looks like that's a yes on the hardened pushrods http://web.camaross.com/bb/Forum1/HTML/106091.html

Keyless entry was an option in '93....My brother bought one brand new. It was a big, ugly square remote with just two buttons on it.

Also do all 93's have the muffler bolted to the i-pipe instead of welded on as in later years. I know mine and my dads are bolted on

I just read through my service manual and my t.a. has dual airbags. It says SIR on the dash and steering wheel. Remote keyless entry was an option also for pontiacs. When did camaros start getting radio controls on the steering wheel? My t.a. has those also.

I'll confirm that one. I just changed the oil pressure sender 10 mins ago on a '93. I used your post here to help me locate it (when I couldnt' find it on the back of the intake manifold).
