Yup- Leather is available in the 93 Formulas, I have it. It's rare- but its out there...

Great list of differences. I'd love to know if adjusting fuel pressure would help performance...

The FPR's aer located on the Passenger side on the 93 instead of on the Drivers side with the 94+. Such saying you have to buy a FPR For 93 only.

You forgot to mention a few things:

93 cars had a 4L60 transmission which is valve body and parts compatible with the 700R4 transmission. This adds a TV cable, making the throttlebody 93 specific. In addition, I've heard from some sources the 92-93 LT1 motor had different connecting rods than newer ones. What I've heard is it used GM pink rods rather than powdered metal rods. I've read on the list here that the valvespring seats are somehow different on 93's. Maybe smaller diameter?

Yes, 93 front brakes suck. I think the rear brakes are the same. I don't think traction control was available until 94 either.

I believe the 93's had the 1.46 inch springs and the later years had 1.25 inch springs. Not positive but prety sure. Don't forget the 93's are faster.

I got two more differences that are not on that list that I thought of, 93's have the oil pressurer sending unit right above the oil filter, the other years are on the back of the intake manifold. Also the 93's alternator has a metal fan and the others have a plastic disc fan.

heres for the guy who wanted to set his fuel pressure regulator...take a reading of your stock regulator with your car running, then install your regulator and set the pressure at stock..or more. my car runs around 42-43.

also..they say the 93-95s had hardened pushrods...

i love my 93!

Have to dispute the gear requiring the speedo box. You can have a speedo gear installed OR (controversial here) get the chip reprogrammed for the correct ratio.

Mine and a few others have done this instead and IT DOES WORK!

Good info!

I would like to know more about the heated O2's for Long Tubes, since I plan on getting them soon. I too have noticed that my 93 is considerably quicker than other bolt-on LT-1's.
