A4 bouce off revlimiter?

I just installed a PI 3800 stall with 2.5 TM... and a Rossler Stage II 4L60E..... I had a T-5 before so the auto is new to me

the tables are stock

www.turbov6camaro.com/hpt << my HP Tuners bin file for those with HPT

the shift point is at 5700 and my limiter is at 6400 and it still hits the revlimiter.... is something wrong or do i just need tunning?

Thanks for any advice you can give

Sounds like your new (and very expensive) Rossler transmission is slipping.

better not be it hasn't even seen full boost yet not even 50 miles on it yet....

it don't feel like its slipping, i had one of those slipping tranny's before, this one shift nice and hard just under WOT the turbo spools and the rpm go up so fast the scaner jumps from 4200 to 5000 to 5800 lol.... plus the tires don't help much right now.....

boost is down as far as it can go right now !!!

It has to be in the tune..... i would hope the tranny is okay..... fluid is full (check every time i stop since install just to make sure)

If you had an OBD-I computer I would say yes it needs to be tuned and maybe since it is a V6 computer it might have different table setting and they might need adjustment. It almost sounds like you are having the OBD-I high stall issue... Does this only happen from 1-2 or on all gear changes?

well on the 1-2 shift the tires broke loose and i held as long as i could but i got scared and let out.......... i can't hold the car. soon as the turbo hit i loose traction..... i tried the 2-3 but i had to let out cuase some dumb *** pulled out in front of me..... so i let off it shifted, i looked down and i was doing 60.....

could this be caused from the high stall? if it was stock stall i would yes the tranny is slipping but it pulls HARD before and after the shifts...... and it shifts nice........not like the sliping 700R4 i had in my 1989 camaro a few years back..

even still if the tires are spining it should still shift right? maybe it did and i didn't notice i new they was loose then all of sudden it pull hard to the pass side (right) and i let out maybe that was the shift ?

any thing i can try? thanks for the help so far
i need to hit the track i guess with my DR's so i don't **** my pants everytime i test it..... to much risk on the street..... that or i need to find an on ramp lol

i will test it more tomarrow i'm also goign to scan the almost every thing i can in HPT for the auto

If you're still spinning the tires at the shift points, you'll hit the limiter also.
