Shift issues

Last year i had my trans rebulit because the 3/4 clutch blew, the trans was then bulit up more clutch packs, kevlar band etc however during a WOT 2-3 shift the car lets go of 2nd before it hits 3rd before this caused the engine hit the revlimiter now i have the computer reflashed for a cam and i raised the rev limit so it wont hit the revlimiter but i can feel it let go then hit third. Since i have a 2.73 car i wont shift 2-3 till like 90mph at WOT so i cant test it often. Last fall i went to the track and i would only hit 3rd late if i did a burn out before my run. what could this be? I only have a factory trans cooler could that cause it?

Unfortunayely, it sounds like whoever rebuilt your transmission didn't know what modifications to make to the 3-4 clutches, and I'm sure they didn't address the high RPM line pressure issues.

We get many transmissions in that the customer has had built elsewhere, and complained about the car bumping the limiter before it shifts. I haven't had ANY complain about it after we build the transmission.

I know what you mean about having 2.73 and not being able to test the 2-3 shift, my car shifts into 3rd a little before the end of the track
What clutches were put in and what was replaced just the 3-4 clutches and the band? Unfortunatly if the whole system doesn't work well together then you get this type of thing, also running any type of higher stall and the stock cooler is going to kill it faster..
