Yeah...hmm...I will wait until the US version comes out. I hope it looks more like an...American Chevrolet.

Damn it, the bed on the extended cab looks retarded. I hate when a bed has more space hanging behind the wheel than in front of it, it just doesn't look right. It doesn't have that mean look the concept had.

For as much as Bob Lutz raved about how the American truck divisions are competitive and "give the customers what they want," this sure doesn't look like it.

I suspect there will be some revisions for the U.S. market. In fact, the press release pretty much states it.

I think the bed looks to be dimensioned more for the Asian / international markets. Also, the track width looks narrow for some reason. The current Colorado fills out the wheel wells much better than that, with or without the Z71 package. A proper stance alone would go a long way toward making the truck look more American. So would a slightly taller cargo box.

This configuration may be the best looking of the bunch:

The front end looks like an Equinox and the window line for the cab does not match up well with the top of the bed.

In other words, I hate the way it looks. It looks like they took the Equinox and tried to slap a bed on it and call it a truck.

Looks-wise, I think the current Colorado looks better.Waaaay better. That is just my opinion though, your mileage may vary.

It will grow on people. I thought they royally screwed up when I first saw the 97 F150 but that obviously did fine.

Sadly, the "best looking of the bunch" is the "Concept" truck and the "a**" is the production truck we're really getting...

And they are the same truck except for wheels / tires, a fake roll hoop / style bar on the bed, different running boards, and very minor detail changes to the lower front fascia. All of which can / will be easily changed before the U.S. version is released, I'd wager.

Let's not get our panties in a wad just yet.
