I don't see this as a logical progression. Walk from the "excitement" division to the "snooze" or at best "sleeper" division? Just look at a GXP and LaCrosse. They are at opposite ends of the design spectrum.

Z284ever is correct. No plans to replace the GP. Only a couple years left and the GP will be gone.

So you mean to tell me the G6 is going to be Pontiac's largest sedan? C'mon...that means Pontiac goes from being more like Nissan to more like Mazda, as the 6 and the G6 are pretty damn close in size!!!!!!!!!!

Not arguing with what you're saying, just spouting off in general. I find it amazingly hard to believe GM would be so stupid as to not make a decent midsize car for Pontiac. GP was their perennial best seller before they bastardized the style of the car...

If this is true, then its truly a shame. No small car, no bigger car, just one right in the middle. Wonderful

Long Live the Grand Prix My family has owned 4 and all have been the most reliable cars we've had. If this is accurate, its truly sad. Impala is too boring to go after imports like the Maxima, and LaCrosse is not nearly sporty enough...a true shame.
