The new camaro... again

Well, usually im not one to post any crap about the new camaro, because 99% of it is from false people. Well... here it is, for yourself... from the Head of the GM Performance Division... Scott Settlemeir...

Re: The new camaro... again

Words cannot describe how happy I am. He said "Camaro" and "Built here in 2-3 years" in the same sentence!!! And he really did say CAMARO, not coupe or Chevelle or RWD Zeta bull****, he said C-A-M-A-R-O.

ONE FOR THE HOME TEAM.

That's no different then what he's been saying for the past year or so. Geez, some of you have some thick skulls.

this is true... the only difference... is the last 2 years, he has said theres hope... now he actually said camaro, and 2-3 years, in the same sentence.

So is this it? Is this enough of a conformation? It also doesn't just mention a "Camaro-like" vehicle, he mentions the word "Camaro". Sounds pretty good to me.

Re: The new camaro... again

I know Scott is very careful about what he says..... so I am assuming the "no talk" policy is at the begining stages of being lifted, like a lot of folks here have been saying it should about now.

I hope when they do an "official" public announcement, whether it be at NAIAS or whereever, with or without a concept Camaro....... Scott should be the one who does the announcement/unveiling. He deserves it and has earned it.

I would imagine he said exactly what he meant to say, but we need to be carefull that we don't leave out a VERY important part of his quote, otherwise it could look like he's out there saying stuff that he shouldn't.

He's said the same thing in THIS forum!

BTW, when did they make him head of the GM Performance Division?
