Anyways, for me, that is by far the most interesting pic, since it illustrates some sense of mass compared to the Mustang.

Oh, and put me in the "don't like the door handles" group.

Looking at the comparison photos, it seems the whole greenhouse has moved forward a couple of inches ?? ...... this is good, more leg room in the back !!!

Are you suggesting is more "massive" than the Mustang? Seriously?

Remember it's a mule. The door handles may not be production spec.

I think he was just saying there's a sense mass of Camaro v. Mustang...not one way or the other. Just that comparison is there.

But I do have to say...the concept is already shorter than the Mustang, and some are saying they shrunk it even more (side panel btwn door and wheel)...so

Vert concept (L, W, H) [in]:.....186.2......79.6....53.
Mustang (L, W, H) [in]:...........187.6......74.......54.

Yes, i hope so... this might be a sneaky way for GM to show us the door handles and get our feeling on it?? if so... GM better start thinking of alternative door handles... a nice detail to have it more flushed to the body like the 4th gens... or something along the lines of the C5 or C6 but it wouldn't change the fact that I am getting one...

Oh God no , not modeled after the C6...the WORST execution of door handles ever....big ol' square hole in the rear 1/4 panel kills the flow of the body lines.

The only downside about the door handles on my 4th gen... Is that I have to continue doing the gentlemanly thing by opening the door for her... She has long nails that has scratched, scraped, you name it to the paint in that little opening underneath the handle...

Win win situation... You don't get your door scratched, scraped... and in turn she thinks you are a gentleman.. when in reality you are more worried about your car's paint than begin a gentleman...

Don't get me wrong, I love the car, I love the lines, I love more or less everything about it except that it's not sitting in my driveway right now. But part of the reason we're discussing door handles is because we know there are powers that be who get input from us, so they can deliver a home run. If there's something about the vehicle that isn't liked by us, and as a result, the buying public, I'm sure GM will want to know before they commit more money, only to see it backfire on them.

Trouble is, she is self-proclaimed independant and gives me that sigh and tells me "I'm never going to get used to you doing that, no one else did it" Oh well.

This place is getting downright silly. We have continuous useless threads on topics like weight because there hasn't been any "new" news. We finally get some photos of mules in public down under, and the topic quickly turns to complaints about the door handles. On a mule? Seriously!?!

I can see it now. Photos of the production Camaro will get leaked and you guys will find something else to complain about.

Sheesh!

Yeah, like how we can't find any competition because every Mustang owner is scared to take us on.
