Well first off, what is the width of the wheel?

Factory C5 Z06's are 18x10.5". You can't run a 245/40-18 on a 10.5" wide wheel. They fit wheels 8.0-9.5" wide. If you have an aftermarket 18x9.5" Z06 replica, it will be OK, but its going to look a bit "stretched" on a wheel that wide.

Even the 265/35-18 is not a good choice, since its smaller in diameter than the stock tires. Most people opt for a 285/35-18 to get closer to the correct diameter.

Go buy yourself a set of cheap 275's and be done with it. Anything smaller will look just that, too small.
