z06 rims...with a dark twist

Ok I have the C5 z06 rims but they are a bit too shiny for me...even w/ them being gunmetal. I have been photoshopping a bit w/ them today and think I like what I am coming up w/. Now my ? is would you leave them as is, paint them like shown, or paint them and the center cap as well.
Assuming it was your car what would you do?

*Anyone do this or have anything similar? If so post em up!

Original photo:

Black photoshop..center cap gunmetal still:

Black photoshop...center cap black

Thanks

Ok I just found BigRon77 on LS1tech has something very similar to what I want to do. This is done perfectly IMHO...that car is badass.

I need to contact him and get some different photos!

One of the guys that comes out to the local cruise nights has a Z06 and he got the rims powder coated gloss black.Even the centercaps. But to spice it up abit he had the vette logo painted in the same color as the car.Looks amazing.

And that C6...WOW

I am definitely a fan of the all black rims, but heres the thing...they all look the same when the car is moving. Plus all black loses pretty much all definition IMO. You need some sort of contrast. I never have been a fan of the polished lip...thats basically how I started the photoshopping.

Thanks for all input, I enjoy hearing what people have to say.
