I looked at the M/T website, and did not see that size shown on either of the ET Street Radial size charts. But the "links" for the two different tread patterns for the ET Street Radials both go to the same size chart. They used to go to two different sets of sizes. I did find that size with a "search", and it appears to be the "sport compact" tread pattern, not the tread pattern used on the really sticky drag radials that are often referred to as the "world's fastest".
A 295/50-15 would be a 26.6" tire, so the diameter would not be a problem. But M/T recommends that the wheel width be no more than one inch narrower than the tread width, and their 295 tires typically have a tread width close to 11", meaning you would need a 9.5 - 10.0" width for them to fit correctly. Stock wheels are only 8.0" wide.
