Re: LT1 beats LS1

OK, after looking closer at the posts maybe I was taking it the wrong way. I beleive my car is capable of 12.6-12.8 in the 1/4. That LS1 is probably low 13s so maybe I shouldnt have beating him that badly. Either way he was gonna get beat though.

Great kill, good to see you didnt need the juice. But get longtubes man, they arent as scary to install as most make them out to be. Mine went in without much effort. Good luck and keep the kills coming.

With 4.10 gears traction will be an issue from a 10 mph roll. I've still got the 3.23s on my rear and I have issues on street tires unless the road is warm and dry.

You definately should get to a track sometime and see what she can do. Like you, I'm not much for Dynos but track times tell a lot about the car, driver and traction. Not to mention the fact that it's fun as hell to run down a track against a kid in an import who's mods are mostly show and very little go. But watch out for the gutted civics with only the driver seat and a roll bar

His car is capable of a 12.6 also, but you could probably run that good of a time (or close to it) and he would likely need a lot of practice just to break out of the 13's.

Good luck with your car and stay safe out there.

Yeah it's within range of 12's but I think he would definately need the headers to hit it though. I'm hoping to get into the 12's with some sticky tires, SFC's, and better driving. (2.4xx 60's aren't going to cut it) And hopefully better track conditions, none of this oily launch pads and 80* weather with a 22mph headwind. That sucked lol.
