LOL...

I swear, I've never seen a thread anguish on like this dead horse...

The blown Mustangs are a JOKE... and I'm sorry to have to tell ya this boys, but I have a 14 year old Z with 160k miles, a mild cam, a set of gears, a kick *** stall and a world class driver... and I am a 100 shot from beating all but TWO blown juice squeezers that run at our track.

I ran a beautiful blown juice squeezin' RACE STRIPPED stang' two weeks ago that belonged to one of the local Mustang TUNERS and lacked 3/10s from kickin' his ***... All but BRAND NEW MUSTANG, blower and Nitrous, drag radials and a TUNER owner operator and my old N/A Z is within 3/10s of takin' him down.

OH Did I mention that I had all but a full tank of 93 premium and dudes running a few gallons of 112 out of a race tank?

Sorry Mustang fans... but if I put a blower on my old gal, the crying woul dbe heard from COAST TO COAST... it's no contest; the Mustang's a decent car for what it is... but what it is IS A MUSTANG and pound for pound the Z owns you boys.

Yes I'm sure you did hitting 87mph in the 1/8th Muahahahaha. Welcome to the late 80's.

By the way, what is your point with what octane fuel you're running? I don't care if you were running nail polish in your old jalopy LMFAO!!!!

A 7.8 @ 87 is about 1 full second and 13 mph off from the average Termi 1/8 as described in the previous posts. The Mustang you describe is definately not the norm.

On a side note, why is your car only running 87 in the 1/8? Mine did that on street tires with nothing more than a K&N, 4.10 gears, and an HPP tune. There could be more left in yours. Not Cobra fast times, but better.

What did that car run? I've been thinking of moving away from my current project and trying something new. Just trying to get ideas.

Pretty impressive. Yours is not the norm. 87mph in the 1/8th is ~111mph in the 1/4. Thats fast for the limited mods you have.

It'd run out of steam in the 1/4. The best mph I ever had was 107. Never felt like it was laying over or anything. Car always felt super strong in the mid range. Now that I got Bogarts for it I'll have to see what 5 years of absence (sp?) does for me at the track. lol.

Yep, just like I'm anxious to be shaming the 2010 Mustang owners.

530/505 to the wheels. Best was 10.6something @ 131 on a 1.4x 60' with the 6-speed pulling both skinnies on 93 octane and 25mpg on the interstate.

Have you ever sprayed any of the cars in your sig? With an NA car going 10.6's I'd be way too tempted to throw some nitrous at it for an easy 9 second pass.

won't be that difficult... 2010 Mustangs still haven't caught up to 1998 Camaros

I plan on hurting a lot of peoples feelings this summer, I just had to order a new waterpump drive gear today and as soon as that gets here I'll be on the road within 48hrs

Nope. All were on stock internals besides the 408 car.

The heads/cam car went 122.5x mph spinning its *** off.

The wimpy P1SC Procharged Car went 11.15 @ 125.xx

My current car goes the time in the sig.
