Hey DC,
Not meaning to call you on anything, but just a freindly question.
I thought it went like this...
Fox Body 1979 - 1993 platform
SN-95 1994 - 2004 platform
S-197 2005+ platform
In all of my days I can honestly say Ive never heard of an " Edge" platform ...except from the Ford Ranger Edge series pickup trucks.

Let me know if I missed something.

Well, I will be damned.
I just did a little research and low and behold...

I found it. The 99-04 body design was called the New Edge look back when it hit the market in late 98.

That is what you are referring to.

Kudos

The actual frame had a few minor adjustments but it was still based off from the fox yes, but the frame is not exactly the same.

heres you links to show that is was not reffered to as a sn95:

ss02: I dont speak about what I dont know, so I suggest you now take that advice and do the same.

NOTE: check a few pages back as the freak question was already answered.

EDIT: yes the sn-95 does refer to the body style. It was called the fox platform for the chassis design. It remained unchanged until 99 where MINOR modifications were made to the chassis.

Well I dont mind a friendly quarrel, but I do mind when someone chimes in with insults and dillusions of granduer.

I believe this is the second time mister ss02 that you have been completely proven wrong by a guy who knows more about mustangs.

U know thats kinda of funny...its states that the SN-95 is gone....Then it states that the Soft lines of the EARLY Sn-95 are gone replaced by sharp lines.....My point is its still a SN-95 and its still referred to as the SN-95 style mustang by everyone...lol Except u....

Compared to LS1s yes the 2valves are slow but when you hit 4valves they keep up ET wise nicely with you boys. And the whistling ones tend to walk on by.

But then again thats why I keep a Desert Eagle under my seat. How are you going to beat me when AAA is towing your car home because of a hole in you block.
